Gold is such a scam, its a decent conductor but other than that its useless
Thanks for sharing your perspective! You're absolutely right that gold has limited practical uses compared to other materials, like copper for conductivity or silicon in tech. However, gold's value often lies beyond its physical properties. It's been a symbol of wealth and security for centuries due to its rarity, resistance to corrosion, and historical use as currency. Today, it's widely used in electronics, dentistry, and even space technology because of its unique properties, like its resistance to tarnish and excellent conductivity. Plus, its role as an investment and a hedge against inflation makes it highly sought after. I appreciate you sparking this discussion-it's always great to explore the 'why' behind the things we value!
Love these videos
Beautiful : both the coin and the train
Morris Mogols like 713 were used on branchline freight and mixed trains until displaced by larger and more modern power. 10 tons of coal would last for a full 8 to 19 hour day and water consumption would depend on size of train and the grade profile. 713's last assignment was pulling Canadian National's Museum Train in the 1950's as it was then one of the oldest engines still in service. It does NOT have a water pump. The steam powered pump is the Air compressor.
@jaswmclark Thanks for sharing this! I had no idea Morris Moguls like 713 could run up to 19 hours on 10 tons of coal. Learning that the steam pump powered the air compressor, not water, was a great insight. Definitely an everyday learning opportunity-appreciate the comment!
😊
Amazing
This coin is a beauty!
Ford named their cars in alphabetical sequence... There would have been 8 designs between the L on the coin & the T. This doesn't mean 8 production runs - some of the models were only built 15 or 20 cars. The T standardised every single part of the car - you could take the engine out of a 1916 & bolt it in to a '26 with no trouble at all. 15000000 Model T's were built around the world.
Wow, I didn’t know about the alphabetical sequence of Ford’s cars-thanks for sharing that insight! It’s incredible how much innovation went into the Model T, especially with the standardization of parts. Producing 15 million cars worldwide is such a mind-blowing achievement. I really appreciate you sharing this bit of history!
nice coin 🤩
Really nice graded coins! Love that ARN dollar
Recently, I bought a 1948 dollar and am planning to make a video about it. Keep an eye on my channel! Thank you so much for always supporting my channel-I truly appreciate it.
I love that there's always a story behind every coin you show in your videos, keep it up!
Keith here - as I have owned & rebuilt an engine like the little one I show here, (and am building one from scratch,) I am more interested in the exact "how it works" than just showing "this makes it go & this makes it stop."
I never knew I was this interested in coins !!!
Hahha it really reminded me of Zelda Spirit trakcs !
Thanks
Great work ! Really informative.
Very insightful! Would love to see more of these videos
Wow! Never knew how these engines work. Thank you for the amazing video 🙏
Very interesting
amazing explanations 🤯
Keith here - looks good, but I called it up on my phone & had no audio?
Hi Keith, thanks for reaching out! Sometimes on RUclips, the audio is muted by default, especially on mobile. Could you try pressing the unmute button on the screen to enable the audio? I’ve double-checked on my end, and the audio seems to be working fine. Let me know if this helps!
@@Coinstale I got it on the laptop. There are just some vids that seem to have the audio in a format that a flip phone can't handle.
Informative ❤❤😍😍
5😅 😅

Really solid coins! Like the iccs half. What's your best graded coin in your collection?
Thanks for your comment! I’m really glad you liked it. My highest-graded coin is an MS65 by ICCS or PCGS-haven't added anything higher than MS65 yet. But I do have the first 10 cents coin from 1870! I’ll be making a video soon covering all the first series coins, so stay tuned!
@Coinstale cool! Can't wait to see what coin that is. Not a whole lot of Canadian collectors who collect graded older stuff on RUclips.
That perfectly preserved penny 😮
Thanks for your comment! I’ll definitely make a video on this. I have a 1970 double dollar set where the case actually damaged the coins over time. They got attached to the case, causing some wear. I tried cleaning one a bit, though I’m no expert in coin cleaning, and left the other as it is. Stay tuned for more details in the upcoming video!
Awesome
Nice Collection!!
