Question; do you like the Fairitopia movies? I like Mermadia. The beautiful ocean, the music, Elina and Nori's friendhip and prince Nalu, Bibble was funny, Elina as a mermaid was cute! It's a good movie 😀

Thank you for your lovely words! I am definitely trying to practice this and work through alot right now, and it takes a long time but things do get better. I've definitely found writing things out to be helpful in processing emotions. I also heard (and am trying to practice) from a psychologist (Dr. K) that if you are feeling some strong emotion, to do something with your hands (such as cleaning, cooking, some kind of art or music, gardening, playing with a pet, etc.) instead of immediately going to social media, reels, etc. This is what the washing reminded me of!

I also watch Dr.K he has great advices yes redirecting your emotion is the most important!

This popped up on my recommended videos to watch. I relate so much to your video! I was born in the U.S. but grew up in Dubai. My parents are Somali immigrants. I moved to Minnesota when I was 15. It was such a hard adjustment. Now I've settled in more as I've lived here for almost half my life. I oftentimes still feel like I don't fit in & mesh with the Minnesotan culture but I've found my tribe of people. I don't speak Somali well which makes me feel more alienated. As a third culture kid I struggle at times with identity and the question "where are you from"? Oftentimes I feel like I'm caught between 2 worlds. Great video! <3 You articulated your sentiments perfectly . I have to check out the movie "Inside Out" now!

I get what you are saying, I'm full Mexican born and raised in America. And I often feel I am too Hispanic for white people but to white for Hispanic people. I feel out of place in a room full of Hispanic people and I feel out of place in a room full of white people. I don't feel like I belong anywhere. And I feel like now people are always trying to tear down people they feel are lesser than them just bc of their race and EVEN where they grew up.

I needed this 🥹 An Asian customer of mine (previous cab driver) told me the realest people don’t have a lot of friends. And I looked at him in my rear view mirror and we both knew. I feel at home when I rock solo I make myself be my home. That’s my identity. Thank you for sharing you are a beautiful soul ❤

Just had a birthday and realized I'll never know the feeling of home 😓 If your parents, family or community didn't peovide it for you than noone will. No friends, not a partner, noone cause people only accept people who are already in a support system. Getting the bag 💰 now so I can give it to myself as much as possible but it'll never give me the foundation a person needs to have a strong foundation. Plus beautiful colored girls in the US are easy targets for raycist to shun, harass, or invalidate. At least I'm seeing different types of "exotic" girls are just coming together online and owning the title to create our own versions of community in our own way ❤
