first lap of the 2024 WILD Wabbit C4 class. lots of dust and a slippery track. my hands free hydration system was bouncing around interfering with the mic on my camera

I almost hit that post too! lol. jumping onto the track near the finish was so much fun.
Lol it came out if no where and at that point I had killer arm pump and just couldn't hold on.
What's with the sound?
I'm not sure exactly, I think it might be my camelback tube hitting my helmet since I started using one of the hands free systems or something is wrong with my camera

@@Eric_Rides no updates yet, so far its just Fault line, Lights out, Garcia Gulch, OK corral, and Dinosaur. Hopefully the rest open soon. Its pretty sweet riding back there while the ground is still moist. Lights out is perfect right now.

What camera/gps/pulse tool ?
Camera is a Garmin Virb Ultra 30 linked to a Garming vivoactive smart watch

It's a motion pro T3 throttle cable and the hand guards are Cycra Probend

I notice that you have run both carbs Smart and Billetron on your gas gas and Reiju. Which one do you perfer? Or are they both running how you like?
I had problems getting the SC2 just right for some reason. I know others that have them and love them so I think it's a good product but it just never worked out for me. The Billetron came out so I sold my sc2 and bought the Billetron, the provided setting on that work great with my bike.

I saw that you have a Garmin bike GPS, how does it work, is it good for offroad navigarion?
Its good for tracking the ride and you can use it for navigation to an extent, its too small to use on the move but it has come in handy a few times figuring out where we need to go in the forest.
I ride completely different terrain than you, but the Billetron is also doing great up here in the tight New England woods 👍
Im having this problem with my brand new rmz250 I was riding the other day then just cuts off and won’t stay on for more than 5-10 seconds
Check your wiring anywhere it could contact the exhaust. All this was on mine was the wires to the ecu got burned and were shorting to the frame.
I wonder if I can get that graph and speedometer on my Hero 8?
I'm not too familiar with Gopro, my camera is a Garmin. But I do know if you have a Garmin watch you can track your ride with that regardless of camera and use the watch data to overlay on the video using the Virb Edit app.

Thanks! I dont use a GoPro. Its a Garmin Virb Ultra 30 and their editing app allows you to overlay the GPS data

Nothing came lose. Two of the tabs on the clutch basket snapped off due to fatigue
@@TGM_Offroad WOW.... makes me think there must have been a flaw in that basket. Unless your racing at an insanely fast and high RPM pace... with lots of slipoing the clutch (building up heat) and popping the clutch under load..... I'd never expect a basket to fail like that.
It's something I have seen happen to other older GasGas bikes like mine. Seems like a super light weight basket.
Dude... The wasted thing got me laughing my ass off. You weren't kidding about your clutch exploding on ya. Was that part of a clutch disk that made it's new home in the side case?!

Newbie rider here any good spots for beginners on cow mtn?
Not a ton of beginner trails there but there are fire roads to cruise on and a lot of the trails there may be a little much for a beginner but you have to start somewhere to progress, just make sure to take a friend for help.
This place just made it in my bucket list of places! Beautiful trails!

How’d you get your vitals in the telemetry? Super cool you were able to track almost your whole ride on gps also, do you use an external battery for the camera?
All the data is from my camera the Garmin Virb Ultra 30, I don't use an external battery but just carry extras to swap out through out the day.

It really does, it took a little bit to get it adjusted to my liking but the bike is really happy with it now

Did you consider the SmartCarb vs Billetron? If so, why the Billetron? Just curious. Bike sounds great!
I had the SC2 but could never get it quite right. I had good luck with the H series previously so I went back to lectron
What bike is this on? Can you tell me where your rod was set from the factory and if you adjusted it any?
Its a 2018 GasGas XC300. Will need to look up the specs but depending on what bike you have the settings may not be real helpful
@@TGM_Offroad right, I bought one for my 16 husky 300 and out of the box it’s a bear to start. They recommend richening it up but I can’t come to a good setting. Odd given the stock Keihn starts fine and the 38hv I had ran well. I was just curious. Thanks for replying.
@@DS-gq6wv I have issues with mine starting after sitting for a while but if I blow into the vent hose to "prime" the carb then it fires right up. Found the float needle is getting stuck so they are sending me a new float assembly and needle/seat.
@@TGM_Offroad interesting. Hopefully that fixes you up. I appreciate the reply. Mines on its way back to be looked at. I had a similar issue with the bowl running dry and not refilling.

How is the bottom end hit compared to your stock carb? I'm going to be getting one for my YZ250X and am hoping it might compensate for not having a heavier flywheel.
Bottom end is comparable to the Keihin but smoother
