Joel Porter is an ambient-folk artist and instrumentalist from North Dakota, now living in Nashville, TN. Collaborating with producer Eric hillman (e.hillman - Foreign Fields), he introduced his intimate, expressive solo project with the release of the nature-inspired Mountain Twin EP. Joel followed with the personal & heritage-inspired Hiraeth - EP (again working with Hillman) in August of 2018. As an instrumentalist, he has recorded string and brass parts for Foreign Fields, Hembree, Matthew And The Atlas, and Boom Forest.
Joel is currently writing his first full-length LP, intended to be recorded and released in 2021.
