I don't know if this has been commented before, but the unused voice lines consisting of three words (like Manus, Potentis, Paroare) are used like in BG1&2 and Icewind Dale, they only said three words, depending on the school of magic.

It's a nice touch that the phrase for speak with dead, "Cum mortuis in lingua mortua," means "With the dead in a dead language." Double meaning. Dead language as in language of the dead, and also because Latin is a dead language.

It would ge good to know which spell in particular has the verbal component that she is saying besides just the translation. Some I know by heart, dolor is eldritch blast and arde is scorching ray, but what about the rest?

I did my first playthrough as a ranger and hearing 'Est praedae me' still gives me goosebumps :D I really loves this

As someone from Latinoamerica with spanish as their first language, this is all a bit funny to me. For example the spell Lesser Restoration in latin is "Te Absolvo" and in spanish that would be "te absolvo" exactly the same. Also works with a bunch of other spells, "te curo" is also the exact same words and spelling as in spanish. Imagine getting caught off guard on your first playthrough when i was like ARE THEY SPEAKING SPANISH? later to realize it was latin. But hearing Astarion telling me he absolves me every morning curing my bloodlessness, i enjoy.

Some unused longer spell chantings are from BG1 and BG2! I wish they kept them, they sound badass.
