    The "caucasity" of it? What makes her think it's okay to speak like this? Would she ever say the "negrosity" of it? She needs to realize that, being mixed race, if she grew up in an inner city environment amongst blacks she would've been actively bullied for her identity. Disgusting.

    More likely the light first destroyed the microbiome- then the antibiotic - not the other way around - Dr Stasha Gominak has shown it’s Vit d deficiency that kills the Microbiome and D that can regrow it! And she has shown a healthy microbiome in the presence of adequate Vit D recovers from antibiotics… we did culture antibiotics from the microbiome set… so they are tolerant

    I like to listen to all perspectives...but it's so insane to me to think that eating animal flesh (beef, chicken, pork, eggs) . Bryan Mirabella....and Italian 50 something year old American male..15 years 98 % raw mainly fruitarian...on "occasion" and only out of boredom will have some nuts at night....many You tubes videos..Just look at his physique...also then google Karen Calebrese..75 year old female...also mainly fruit...and BOTH had been raised eating the amount of animal protein suggested...If most people had to slaughter a cow/chicken/pig....disembowel it..allow blood to drain...given the span of time humans have been around etc...not to mention needing ALOT in the way of tools.....heavy duty sharp knives , hooks to hang and the strength and place to hang that said carcass.....well, a person has to be extremely shut down...I know one thing..if I had to break the neck of then skin the turkey or chicken let alone a cow...not happening...Disturbing. Human animals do NOT have the stomach acid or ability to break down and digest raw let alone cooked animal flesh....And they HAVE acid reflux FROM the eating of non human species specific foods....PS I was raised Irish/British American 2nd gen in US...I was raised with this supposed amount of animal flesh this nice man says is optimum....I was cronically constipated...by 10 years old had to have my tonsils and adenoids removed...sick with colds/flus multiple times a year...now as a fruitarian NEVER sick.....

    I have iron deficiency and I'm barely into the normal range and have these symptoms. Most women are iron deficient and the doctors tell you you're not. The ranges of normal are BS. They told me it was vertigo for years.... it WASN'T. I THINK 1 in 3 women have iron deficiency because we used to eat more organ meats and cook in cast iron.

    What if we have specific issues with our bodies? I have stomach issues and always feel bloated and unwell in my gut. I try to eat a pretty clean pescatarian diet. I just had a routine colonoscopy done on Wednesday and I am feeling so terrible. My gut is protruding, I have low grade fever, chill, nausea and I cannot poop. The pain in my stomach is so bad it hurts to walk and I cannot work. My doctor was out of the office all weekend and I can’t afford to go to the ER. I usually rely on essential oils as I’m a partner with YL. I prefer natural remedies over medicine. The way I’m feeling is how I felt 18 years ago when I got E Coli and then went septic. Can you recommend where to find a functional doctor or someone like you that could help reset my gut ? Thank you

    Yall have single handily discussed all of my frustrations and worded them in a way that I just have not been able to. 1. I was fortunate to be in a program that covered private practice and integrative nutrition. But it is so frustrating that there is such a lack of consensus. It creates room for individuals who unfortunately do not have the scientific training to step in and control the conversation. And even food corporations. 2. Do I think RD’s are the only authority on nutrition? Absolutely not. Do I get frustrated that after 7 years of schooling, there is a possibility that my profession will still not be respected or taken seriously?! Absolutely. We need to change from within. I think it’s great that you also brought to light the discussion of keeping up with upcoming research and different approaches. THAT is so important ❤ loved listening to this conversation and knowing that there are others out there with the same mindset.

    Every food is processed. Slicing an apple is a process, cutting a potato is a process, etc. Processing food can fortify it with nutrients like iron, lengthen it’s shelf life, freezing food locks in nutrients.

    • @EvanQuinones
      @EvanQuinones 4 месяца назад

      I believe she's talking about ULTRA processed foods. "Foods" that don't even remotely resemble a whole natural food. Slicing an apple is still naturally an apple. Cutting a potato into chunks is still a potato. Potato chips on the other hand? ULTRA PROCESSED because so many chemicals and additives have been mixed in to create something that is the furthest thing from the whole natural potato that it started out as.
