I personally got out of comics for two reasons. 1) Politics. 2) Lack of commitment and consistency. Comics are entertainment. Entertainment is supposed to be an escape. Social justice is not what I'm looking for when I'm looking for an escape. And, in the rare instances where I found a good comic, the artist or writer goes away and is replaced by a hack.

I have five antique stores that I go to on a regular basis. These shops have their prices on the mark however I still check their prices on line from time to time and some booths will also take offers. I have fun going to all this stores.

Why do you go to antique shops for comics if you only want 2 dollar books?

It's great to hunt around those places to find some good prices and even some diamonds in the rough. I've gone and thrown some offers for bulk buys on them if I've been there a few times and notice nothings moving they sometimes will sell a lot for low prices to get rid of them

I saw a costco the other day put their pokemon cards out for sale at $1500 per box. And if you spoke to a cost co worker, they will give you a coupon so its only $44 per box.

Half of the customers are there to find books that are steals…

I have never seen comics priced smartly at an antique mall. It’s crazy what those booth owners prices them for.

Pokémon and McDonald’s was one of my favorite memories. Good luck, keeping them sealed.

I saw a comic shop…this guy had a Transformers Windblade #1 for 75 bucks…and it’s on Ebay for 80…and every site that watches the market…has its value at only 4. That book sold for 4 on ebay. Sellers have gotten greedy.
