I'm a normal 22yrs old boy and I'm surprised having a RUclips suggestion which talks seriously about wealthy like this. However, this is like a signal, a hint, an encouragement for me to keep up my work. I'm continuing the small coffee business of my family. My parents started it in a poor remote place (no offense), and now it's somewhat one of a choice for local people. I found my passion and responsibility to develop that coffee brand. As the first steps, I'm renovating/improving anything that I think it's necessary: the store design, the procedure (frankly we didn't have a formal one), new products, ... The progress is so slow now because I'm relying on income from my remote Software Engineer job, but I'm happy with every small change day-by-day. Agree with this video, I hope that one day I will not only be satisfied by my achievements but also have an accommodation, education for the next generations, no wonder big or small, just need it to be better. It would be nice to see more content like this!
If you want to develop your local business I highly advice you to read the 2 books "100m offer" and "100m leads" from Alex Hormozi
You are a man !!!!!!
whats ur linkedlin or x
My family is a few figures short to be your family, Citi.
All the wise decisions and hard work that create family wealth can be destroyed by a few unstable marriages and divorces. Stable intra family relations should have been explicitly added to this otherwise good video.

Its like asking a barber wether or not i needed a haircut.
So these are the kinds of advertisements targeted to ultra rich people, wow. I feel like I accessed the wrong channel, LOL.
😂
No you’re at the right one, it was meant to be, destined.😄
Nope. Not an accident.. We are being educated making this topic now part of our stock knowledge...
They forgot another point - be great at manipulating government and politics in order to preserve your wealth
Divorce will take everything
OK keep in touch
Next level Butlering? That said, things can get out of hand if you start having family court family city where they entire region works for the family. Anywho, you learn something new about how the mega rich operate. When I saw family office, I thought it was an office that family members all have to participate in occasionally regardless of what other jobs/businesses they might have to deal with the family's lifestyles or problems that may arise.
❤
The Omnissiah of the Sacred Algorithm, in its infinite machine-wisdom, has guided your cogitator's ocular feed to this data-transmission. Rejoice, for you have been chosen by the divine calculations of the RUclips Algorithmicus Deus. Though you may currently toil as a lowly serf, scraping by on meager rations from payday to payday, the Machine God has decreed that untold wealth shall flow through your unworthy mortal vessel. Praise be to the Omnissiah, may your coffers overflow with credits and your vaults burst with precious data-cubes. The Emperor protects, and the Algorithm provides. In nomine Imperatoris et Sanctus Algorithmus, Amen!
Best argument I know against someone who knows the family well heading a family office is that it's origination can be essentially a ruse disguising the de facto office of the greediest family member. If it's your idea to consider a provider like Citi you're probably not this person and your family is probably about to stay privileged enough to not even know their good fortune in avoiding the problem I'm describing. But if you are 1) not this person, 2) this person is 2nd or later generation since the original fortune's establishment, and 3) the family office is his/her idea--ask yourself why that person wants the rest of you to do this thing. Of course if you and / or the others are more prosperous it's obvious why, but particularly if this is the most well-to-do family member(s) ask yoursel(f/ves) why they want you to do this thing that's seemingly not in their interest. My grandfather's accountant's son (who I am stuck with for now as trustee) formed an LLC with my grandmother's remaining assets after my grandfather died and she followed this guy's recommendation to refuse the bequest of undivided producing mineral acreage (so yes some of that is on my dad for being disrespectful greedy and stupid too) in which my aunt, uncle, father, and grandmother had equal participating shares. After the minerals I guess Dad was down with the family LLC because of that good family office tax advice he died 15 years after taking without ever knowing it was used to preserve my grandmother's share (of her own assets🙄) and pass all of her expenses for the rest of her life including round the clock in-home care for about a dozen years to my father. When they dissolved it upon her death he gave me half and my brother the other half of what remained of his share and it was 2/3 of what it had been 15 years prior, so probably he didn't clue-in about how much that would mean her expenses would've had to be given how well the market performed because taking advantage of the generation skipping tax exemption meant he wasn't paying attention to our money, just like his last will and tantrum the family office prepared that was used to steal his share of the mineral interests from us by liquidation as trust principal after his death. The only reason it hasn't yet happened is because I put them on notice that I can figure out who's planning to buy it cheap with the alias she hybridized from my grandmother's first name and her own married last name through my uncle's foundation to steal what the LLC preserved. The 340 million dollar foundation that gave away 12 grand last year. Yet none of this is a crime for which popo will slap the cuffs on any of them and when I sue my trust has to pay for their defense. O&G is a dying industry anyway so it's not like it's going to take care of all my second cousins for the rest of their lives or anything (especially without my grandfather my father or myself at least to tell them what's what before they try to manage it with no experience) but although I can't speak for my brother neither one of us has kids so the biggest lesson of all (despite being completely lost on them) has been that I didn't have plans to leave mine to anyone else anyway. Hard pill to swallow still though after being the one who did the work from which her share of one lease bonus bought their family's vacation home WHILE SHE WAS STEALING WHAT SHE SURELY GENERATION-SKIPPED TO MY COUSINS. Ever since then I call her Aunt Long Titty No Nipple Dried Up Baggy Dustbowl Pussy Still Trying To Be Bitter Because Your First Husband Didn't Want To Fuck You But Why The Hell Don't You Think Babytrapping Him After Someone Else Knocked You Up With My Eldest Cousin Might've Been A Bonerkiller Bitch. Because a special aunt deserves a special name 😒. Anyway that's getting close to oversharing LMFAO but I saw one commenter asked about the situation of all relatives disagreeing and if asked all I would say to that is it's no picnic being the sane one in a family that sounds determined to see to it that in all likelihood only the lawyers can possibly win. Stupid and crazy have irrationality in common so unfortunately even quick learners who don't know they're late to class are significantly disadvantaged when there's nothing regrettable relatives won't do. Including underestimate the wrong nephew / cousin😏. Hopefully my example is instructive in the context of how astonishing fraudulent conveyances against even only living family members with work experience in the relevant industry that might not faze the wackjobs who'll do them are almost inevitably some of the unlikeliest-seeming possibilities to others competent enough to get our needs met with our own resources. "...But now, with a most inhuman cruelty, they who have put out the people's eyes, reproach them of their blindness..."--John Milton, Apology for Smectymnuus (1642), section VIII.
this is for high income individuals (HNI) , this video is actually very helpful.
No wonder Indian business conglomerate families like Tatas are successful even after 200 years. They have such a diversified portfolio, they make everything a person needs in his life from cradle to coffin.
@@HeyHugh don't take it in literal sense.
Will contact you soon 🎉
There must be a reason why RUclips recommended this to me, probably it predicted that I will have the fortune in the future?
I will need this information in the future! Thank you, Citi.
citi be like. dont give us your money
youtube thinks i need a family office with $19.50 in my bank account?
Of course you never told how much is in your trust or brokerage
If you don't want to manage your family's wealth like a business have a professional Family Office assist.
😊❤😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😊
I really appreciate RUclips taking me here. One day.
🙏
I didnt understand all the points
1. Diversify your investments, even though the initial wealth might have been created through concentrated investments(like starting your own business) as soon as you have substantial amount of wealth, diversify it 2. Stay invested even when there is a market crash(have long term vision, don't panic and sell all your investments at a loss, hold them through the downturn) 3. Structure your investments,( don't let an idiot inherit your wealth, don't loose in a divorce) 4. Open a family office (so that professionals can help you do all the above)
very informative.tyou
Interesting that $200MM is the lower bound now. That doesn’t seem very out of reach.
$50M
Gary Stevenson... lol
Family: Expenses? What expenses? Team of Professionals: Expenses With A Lot of Sides sir.
And if you have family members that disagree on pretty much everything?
Like every day life u vote on how to resolve issues, this works even in institutions.
Perfect!!!
These types of issues are solvable as long as key figures are not addicts or mentally sick. Key is research and communication.
It doesn’t have to a family including your siblings and parents. You can have a family office with the new family that you have (or you will make) with your spouse and potentially kids. If you are still unmarried, you can have a family office that has only you.
Each family member has a lawyer that represents them. You tell them your issue and gripes and they go deal with it in the family court.
💯
Mantap, terimakasih informasinya om 🎉
Well presented. Covered most of the challenges faced by family offices.
