Looks like QC rip off but much much more it has to offer. An all in one robust unit. Multifunctional and such.. if it can run your fave Neural plugin without latency that's a big win unless it costs 5000 dollars then they might sell only 30. Keep it simple and smaller, just make a smaller powerful flyrig 3-4 switch plugin loader pedal that can run and play your fave Neural plugins for high quality live and studio use without issue, without latency. Guess we're gonna have to wait for Sonicake, Zoom or Behringer to come up with that now..

Hi! Since ii've made the supermode 4 update on my midi captain std, i can't acces to the menu of the unit via the center wheel (to change page program for example). Ths center clic button doesn't work. only the rotation wheel. PLease help ! Thanks

I just ordered this pedal because I think the Switch will allow me to activate on/off the Wah Pedal feature like real Wah pedals do. I’ll find out how well it works once it arrives 🙂 Update: Got the pedal and I love it! Great build quality. The Switch really makes it feel like my Wah pedal 🙂

Just warning since Wilson and company wont respond to my emails with a yes we know there is a problem.. the midi ports on the unit DO NOT WORK.. confirmed with other people who have unit.

Not getting reply to emails sent, and seeing more and more photos of midi captain switches falling apart makes me keep the fingers away from this company and their products. Seems cheapest quality switches are used here. I never had any footswitch fall apart in more than 40 years!

You're clearly a talented musician, and it’s inspiring to see how far you’ve taken things. I was wondering if there’s a chance we could also take a look at the boxes (or presets) for the Neural DSP plugins? I’d love to explore that further. Such a clever piece of equipment! Is it possible to program the Captain on a computer, rather than the screen that is on the pedal? I don’t think my old eyes would be able to use that small screen effectively.

When I get one, I plan to use Reaper, my go-to plug-ins and call it a day.

Im having trouble with the midi ports on the unit. I can not get it to acutal take midi in and map it in any software. Is there a solution to this? The buttons on the unit are registering but not any external midi decice

Hey just wanted to come here and say I received my CE-1 unit yesterday, in San Diego California, it took around a week or less to get here if anybody is wondering, it comes with a hard case, great for storing and moving around, I installed a daw and ez drummer, I am buying a neural dsp plugin later today since I didn't have any of those plugins, everything seems to be working a-ok, thank you Wilson and PaintAudio!

Wilson i just recieved my unit and it ROCKS!!! Thank you!!! THis is what ive been waiting for for years!! Now im in the long process of installing things. Also you re definately right about mouse keyboard and a monitor for editing. Latency feels on par to my main computer with Thunderbolt 3 with NDSP Gojira ang GUITAR RIG 7 . THank You AGAIN . I will be making videos as i promised.

Another great use for your product - if it will pass MIDI correctly to software - is as a drum sample library player for controlling with ePads. Also, I have yet to see any software synths being played with a keyboard which is similar to the ePad utilization.
