I heard on the LNSPLTBLVD channel they exported bikes to Japan and Ireland. I'm also overseas but don't really know the American marketplace, so don't know where to go. @rastachoppers I'm not saying you didn't build your bike like that in the 80's or early 90's but in 2024 no shop is going to let you come in. I'm just being realistic.

hi Linda....thanks for the words...you gotta buy a donor bike for the engine and transmission so chopping the frame and welding on a hardtail is much cheaper then buying a rigid frame....it is also fun to weld and part of the process....good vibes....Jordan @ Rasta Choppers

hi JTR...the stock frame is a bit small for big guys....the options are to buy a prefab frame that has some stretch in it usually +3 inches or so....check out Gasbox and Lowbrow frames....or chop and add the stretch yourself but that takes metal skills and a jig.....I've always wondered why they made the sportster frame so small....I'm taller as well and would like it a bigger.....good vibes...Jordan @ Rasta Choppers

hi David...thanks for the cool words...you have two options if you want a bigger frame....stretch the frame of a sportster...which requires metal fabrication skills and a jig....or buy a pre made hardtail frame that has the stretch and rake you want....be sure you buy a frame for the year of your engine so it fits....then you build it out with your donor bike parts....check out Gasbox and Lowbrow...you will probably want a +3 stretch....good vibes....Jordan @ Rasta Choppers

there are some youtube videos on building softtails....pull it....chop it...weld on softail....good vibes....Jordan @ Rasta Choppers

the frame was done with 220v mig welder....everything else is done with the 110v flux core....seat post, battery box, sissy bar....some say 110v is ok for frame but i'd rather ride safe....good vibes...Jordan @ Rasta Choppers

Traditional choppers are Harley's....you can use a Honda or Triumph or any bike you want....but the hardtails are made specific for years and models....so make sure your hardtail fits your bike....yes the three companies are the best...good vibes....Jordan @ Rasta Choppers
