Kings 12V Fridge Fan Mod - No More Frost
Quick video showing how I wired up two 5V fans controlled by a temperature sensor. No drilling through the fridge case required.
The freezer still gets ice cold but no longer frosts up on the outside.
Overall efficiency of the fridge is improved.

Remote Tuning My Colorado | 42mm Turbo Worth It?
Просмотров 3,7 тыс.Год назад
Finally get the Colorado back on the road after installing an intercooler, transmission cooler, 42mm gated turbo & 30 injectors. Ended up taking the 30 injectors out & tuning it back on the factory injectors. Cheers to Kyle from RPM diesel for all the help with the install & tune. If you've installed 30's on your Colorado let me know where I could have gone wrong. If you have any questions leav...

Finding Hidden Swimming Holes | Marble Bar to Running Waters
Lovely Ep and great mod, I have done this to two Upright fridges now first one was a 55lt Mitso and second one was a 95lt Gecko, Both fridges work so good after the mod and the Milk does not go off in the doors now, and things keep so much longer.
Love the video mate. I noticed for your vision screen that you had it on just a piece of alloy vertically. Would it be more practical to have it on an angle where it’s enclosed in but has ventilation holes or so to protect your wired at the back?? Especially when you’re doing corrugated tracks and things move? But love how the set up is and all the installation you’ve done.
@@Wheelin_2_Adventure yeah I considered it. Cable has 40mm of room behind there and is cable tied to the Ali
Hey bud, is your colorado a series 1 or series two, and hows the fuel economy compared to standard when touring?
@@damienhasleby8390 hey mate it's a 2014 (non facelift, black cap). With the canopy and roof top tent it gets around 13L/100kms
@CHill4x4 cheers mate, similar economy to what my 2013 manual, series 1 gets. Looking to upgrade my turbo to bring boost on a bit earlier and there doesnt seem to be a lot of off the shelf options
New sub here thanks for sharing !
is it normal for temperature gauge to fluctuate but won’t overheat on this vehicle ? Thanks
I searched every were And could not find your screen of Renogy Where did you get it?
Checkout Simply Solved Caravans - sscaravans.com.au/products/renogy-smart-management-system-vision-7-smart-distribution-box-requires-one-core?srsltid=AfmBOops8iwI4H0ORbG7rYsOJptUTAJGPn0pU9zCuYYruF-d2MoX9jxU
Great vid and set up, mate. Q: and it might be a dumb question at that. I have a caravan that has the same system. But, it says the battery’s are charged at 81%. What does your display tell you? And if it’s the same, is that a Renogy “thing” or does my system have a safety feature that need to be switched off. Sorry for the question
@@JustAnotherReviewwithAlek once you fully charged the battery go into the core and you can reset the battery as 100% state of charge
Hey mate what did you secure the awning with at the end there?? I need one of whatever that is
@@AussieDownUnder Google "Rope ratchet tie down" should bring it up
Great video mate - well done
Cheers mate
Nice one brother. Please keep posting :)
Hey mate, Which drawer system is it you run beside the pantry?
Hey mate, it's the D Series Small
Hey mate have you had any troubles with crank pulley squealing

Great vid but can I have $10 for every time you say ‘um’? It’s a bit annoying. Thanks for taking us along. 👍🏻🙏🦘
ahahah I'll see what I can do
Great drone shots! I’ve been here several times but hadn’t appreciated the overall picture . Thank you!
Great footage, keep 'em coming!
The motop 120 plus is over priced 4k for a tent.
Like your honesty with the video . Anyone can stuff up.Really liked the remote scenery ,sure you had a great time.
Great vid mate, I recently mounted my motop about to do the solar setup. Did you end up choosing the motop solar panel? Or a different brand.
@@leonardpersin4255 I went motop mate. I've had 0 issues since I've owned it. I have heard of some people having issues but mines performed perfectly
Awesome mate thanks for the reply. I will run a motop panel and see how I go with it. Some people are hard on things which give items a bad wrap 👍🏻
Should be getting tourism WA sponsorship, CJ.
Plz plz sir injector test report video plzz
Nice views CJ. That could have been a perentie lizard/ goanna or a monitor lizard.Stories that they'll run up you to sit on your head to get a good view
Another good one. BTW Was that a goanna of some sort?
Love it , keep up the great work! Cheers
Legend in the kitchen too. Excellent vid. Look forward to next. Shame tourists destroying reef

You betcha
Nice work. CJ. Must have got your cooking skills from your ol man I reckon
Wonderful! We will be following this as thanks to your suggestion Annalise we are doing exactly the same trip in 4 weeks time! Great first video 😊
Great vid, awesome scenery, keep working on the Colorado, great bit of gear!
It's so weird, I am a US citizen and have the Chevy version. The engine bay is different, but that cylinder 4 issue is the same.
Awesome to hear this. I’m about to pull the trigger on a MW chassis mount and needed this review 😅 ✌️
Hows it been after the install? Im trying to decide between PDI, HPD and Plasmaman for an intercooler/pipe upgrade.
PDI has been great. I don't think you can go wrong with HPD or Plasmaman either. Have a search on the Club RG Facebook page
Hey mate have you blocked your egr
Nah I haven't
Heya im planning to change turbo soon, First do i need to drain oil before i pull manifold and turbo Out ???
Nah oil pools down in the sump so nothing leaks when you pull the turbo and manifold.
@@CHill4x4cheers man 💙
what brand is the pipe work
Intercooler piping is PDI. Intake pipe is In-House Fabrication
I'm looking at these guys for a tray on an Extra Cab Ranger or Hilux. Do you think the tray quality is good enough for the Canning or Simpson levels of punishment? Thanks - David
Yeah their custom canopies are great quality. I've had it on plenty of rough corrugations.
Hey mate hows the tray and canopy holding up 7 months later? Im looking at getting a display tray for 4k. Havent heard too many good things thougu
Only issue I've had was a rubber seal on the canopy which was replaced under warranty. For the price you pay I think it's the best option on the market. All the welds were good and no sign of cracking.
Awesome, Thanks
Filler neck bracket is pretty easy. I made my own. Yet to get it powdercoated but come up great.
Did you reuse the old injector hold down bolts?
Yeah mate
If cooler is damaged would it make vehicle smoke
Yeah it would.
Would it be easier to mount the cooler on the passenger side away from that protrusion on the intercooler and away from winch?
Might fit better but PDI recommend it goes on that side to sit on the "hot" side. Intercooler will function better.
@@CHill4x4 Right. I might consider that when mounting mine. I have a factory standard intercooler and no winch.
Mate you need to remember it's only a 4 cylinder diesel engine so be careful how much power your chasing you could brake something like a cracked piston , maybe you should of purchased a v8 cruiser if ya want more get up and go . My 2 cents good luck 🤞
😂😂😂
1650 or 1800 canopy?
1650 mate
Glad u finally sorted it!
Where did you get this kit from
Direct from PDI in Perth
Hey mate, thinking of buying one and just wondering how it goes mounting a awning to it. Not wanting to go with a motop awning so just need to know mounting capabilities and same with solar on top.
Sorry for the late reply. Checkout the Motop awning brackets. I use two to mount the motop awning, potentially would need three if the awning is heavier but I've got no issues at the moment. I've seen people use an M8 bolt in the channel tracks and makeup their own brackets.
Thank you, you have a nice set up there 👍 nsw
I've got the 135 and I love it only thing I'm having an issue with is I'm get moisture around the seal and its causing some mold. I have only used it 3 times and never during the winter and its been aired out after every use. Have you had any issues with this
Nah I haven't had an issue. Heard spraying silicone canvas sealer around the seal can help. Make sure your latches are clamping down properly so the seal is tight
@CHill4x4 yeah latches are tight down. Even went back to the guy I brought it from and he said it's normal but I question that. Damage is done now I guess. Even had part of from zipper sticking come away and a small area on the canvas missing protection layer which I also questioned and was told it was wear. It's been used 3 times in 8 months.
Just and update on the motop rooftop tent. The dealer replaced the tent under warranty and was fitted on Tuesday. Big thanks to Daniel at the dealership.
