I’m so sad that I found out about uwc a month after the last application rounds were finished. I would’ve loved to go there because I never knew one could actually go to a high school with such good financial aid. But anyways I guess that if I never found out it’s for the best, but I’m sad I couldn’t get the chance to try. Also it’s a pity there is no one year program either

Why are you holding a book , isn't it going to deduct points?
No you dummy read the rules if you look at the notebook and read they will deduct points but if you look at the judges then you would be fine

Does the school teach German classes for non- speakers ?
you can take german ab initio (for beginners) as one of your IB subjects to learn it as part of your academic curriculum + be graded for it, or you could take german conversational classes which are offered after/outside of classes!!

I can't say I know for sure what "got me into Yale" but I'm guessing a combination of my academic record (45 predicted grade), extracurricular activities (involvement in social entrepreneurship, research, community, theatre), and a moderately well-written set of essays that highlighted some of my fears, experiences, beliefs, etc... i could maybe possibly make a video about it if people are interested ahaha
