Static in the Attic can't figure out how, in the flat earth model, the Sun and Moon just hang in the air above us without falling, or what force is making them spin around in a circle above us, or why they don't appear to get larger as they get closer to us, or smaller as they move away (if anything, it's the opposite, the Moon, in particular, looking very large while at the horizon). You think they are literal spheres in the sky because you see this for yourself... but you are not. You are looking through a lens darkly ... how is this different than watching a video screen and saying an image is real, because you can see it? You really have no idea what you are seeing, esp using only one of seven physical senses. I imagine the Moon, in particular, tastes a bit cheesy. The Sun, like peppercorn.

Have you done a side by side of your sunspot footage with hydrogen alpha footage?

Yes, thank you for showing and explaining the physical object (or body, in this case) and the apparent position. Yes, this man is in pool of water and there is a curves glass wall... And we have a lot of atmosphere to look through to see the sun (depending on its altitude in the sky) so I'm guessing the apparent position is more "off" from its actual location around sunset and sunrise... and probably gets a lot closer to or on its actual location around noon. But that's just me thinking out loud.

The forming & disappearing of sun spots makes observations of patterns tricky , I see a wagon wheel effect throughout each day that like the moon finishes a hour later each day leaving the spots in a different location for the same hour next day. It’s Like a ceiling fan effect where you stick a photo of a moon or sun in the blades then view it from one position under. Sun spots are stars 😂 lol I do tons of luminary observations eq mounts have a different tracking speed for the sun than stars
