Hallo Bettina, herzlichen Dank. Es gibt wie überall unterschiedliche Preisklassen und je nach Anspruch. Bungalows, die etwas innerhalb gelegen sind, gibt es auch für ca. 1’500 Euro für 3 Monaten, nähe Strand für 6’000.- , 10’000.-, über 20’000 und mehr. Wenn du im Internet den Höchstpreis, den du bezahlen möchtest eingibst, kannst du etwas passendes finden. Ban Tai, Ban Po und Mae Nam sind eher ruhigere Gegenden. Wenn man einen Roller mietet, kann man gut um die Insel fahren und andere Strände besuchen. Liebe Grüsse Angelina

Hello, Mae Nam Beach is ideal for swimming, the water is not always very clear, depending on the waves, and the sand is a bit darker. Koh Samui also has beaches with very clear water, which are also very beautiful, but if you want it to be quieter and like to swim a lot, Mae Nam Beach with its many palm trees is ideal. The food in the restaurants is not expensive. It is more expensive directly by the sea than inland.

Mae Nam has deceiving looks….venture any deeper than you waist n you will be up to your knees in mud…my personal experience. Chaweng main and south beach much better.👌

I see a lot of people swimming, depending on the time of day and when the sea is calmer. It seems to be cleaner then. I have to admit that the sea has been choppy more often this year and the water is not inviting for swimming. (In other words, it's dirty) 😞🤔
