    I'm around two years on T and facial hair is only now starting to really get noticable. Luckily I don't have any nose hair problem. On the other hand, I have a lot of leg hair and butt hair XD Taking hormones is always suck a mixed bag. You can know what is statistically most likely to happen... but it's going to be a total surprise what you'd actually get. Even so, I'm sure I'm not the only one who was binge watching videos of people talking about their transition experience in order to gain a good idea of what I'm getting myself into. Having that stuff is really nice! Still, for me it has been a mostly positive experience, both the T and the top surgery.

    • @CaidenLouis
      @CaidenLouis Месяц назад

    As someone born with an Y chromosome I have gone through male puberty and in my experience the hair thing is easiest to handle when you just accept it as what you are. I tried shaving first but the itch and ingrown heirs were too much (and it was just the beard - no reason to shave anything else as a male). So eventually I just let it grow and after the pathetic growing phase was over, it became an actual "manly" beard. You will likely also get used to nose hair eventually. Everybody has it. It might just grow a bit stronger because of the testosterone. Btw, human hair normally does just fine without any hair care "products". If you don't work in a coal mine or wash your hair daily, just water is likely enough to do the job.

  • @moorbene5104
    @moorbene5104 Месяц назад

    Eventually you people will understand that Testosterone wont bring you joy. You keep poisoning your body with hormones that dont belong there. Absolutely nuclear bombing the delicate and complex system that is the human body. You wont look nice, you wont sound nice, you wont be healthy, you wont be accepted. You may think you will but no. Any joy you get will be temporary just like athletes that boost themselves. Eventually you will crumble under the consequences that happened due to your decisions. Please for the love of god have some respect for your body. Treat it with love and make sure it is healthy. This has nothing to do with personality. You people are the victims of a propaganda that has brainwashed you into thinking that this will give you attention or social acceptance perhaps more joy in life. So many people are about to dangerously hurt their bodies for the rest of their life and dont even know the magnitude of their actions. Most cases of gender dysphoria are induced through a simple dissatisfaction with your life. But you can change that! Please live a healthy, happy, honest and loving life. A life full of friends, work, success and joy. This is the wrong way... turn back while you still can.

      Thats awful, I'm so sorry you had to go through that. When I take a test it's always "Who are you? How did you get in my house? Please don't hurt me. Don't take that." Or "I need that for my health insurance" or some other nonsense so I can absolutely relate.

    When you say "I don't know why, maybe it's genetic" the truth is nobody knows. We place our faith in scientists and doctors but the human body is still mostly a mystery, as is everything else in life. Even the field of physics is in a state of upheaval, never-mind the far more messy field of biology, where any person might give birth to a 2 headed cyclops for no reason. There is just not enough data on the human body, genetics, or this particular treatment, to know anything substantial. "Weird and unexpected" is the norm, and anyone who pretends they understand anything is lying.

I'm a bit confused if it's better using something in particular for cleaning it while using it and have gone swimming or if it's not necessary, just same soap for all the body. My nipples are always uncomfortable and sometimes they feel painful when clothes or something rub up against them and I’m kinda afraid of the tape sticking to them. about the pronoun thing idk if it actually is an effect of the hormones or if its a subconscious reaction to how you're being percieved or are becoming more comfortable presenting in public spaces. not to say you're not secure in your identity I just mean there's a difference in what you're comfortable with in your mind and with the people you're closest to versus how you're treated externally and how that influences your public presentation. for me I went by they/them for a long time and I didn't like he/him pronouns at all really until I started becoming more comfortable with myself and how I started allowing myself to exist in public and with people and didnt know all that well and suddenly I really liked he/him pronouns and I use them almost exclusively (I still like they/them its just circumstantial) and I haven't started HRT yet so it could possibly just be your mental state shifting around how you're feeling how people are percieivng you etc that's influencing what you're comfortable using to identify yourself

    • @ataraxis7136
      @ataraxis7136 2 года назад

      I wouldn't try it if I were you, trans tape is waterproof so soaking in water won't do much good. But lucky for you any oil will work for the removal, Coconut oil, baby oil, vegetable oil, olive oil, cooking oil, literally any skin safe oil will work if you soak the tape in it long enough. All you have to do is go into your kitchen, find whatever oil you cook with, saturate the tape until the entirety of it is darker than it is when dry, and then wait 3 or more minutes. Once your done waiting peel the tape off slowly, and if you start to feel the tape pulling on your skin, just pour more oil on the part that's being stubborn.
