I used to play the launch solo (0:58) as hard as possible during my studying days in a frat house where anything was possible, nowadays I live in a quiet neighbourhood which restrains me significantly. Looking forward to move out and dust off and assemble the high end sound system I still have stored carefully. Boston is simply the best.

My dad was the communications expert for NASA and when comms were having issues and he got called in to a discovery launch, that was the first time something I saw gave me chills head to toe. Mission control was magic to me.

I remember when this dropped. Was just giddy with anticipation after so long without an album. And hearing this the first time was just incredible and worth the wait. From what I remember this song was written and recorded back in the day and had been relegated to a storage room somewhere on a deteriorating reel to reel and was almost lost to time so parts that wouldn't play had to be rewritten to complete the song. BRAVO!!

Looking at this shuttle left in a field, slowly disintegrating as the growing vegetation infiltrates every tiny crack and seam, slowly pushing it apart to be absorbed into the planet again breaks my heart. There is no greater testament to the achievements of the human race but time and vegetation don't care. It makes me wonder if grass, weeds, brambles, vines, and groundcover have the primary purpose of getting rid of the abandoned and unwanted by devouring the dead and derelict like natures vacuum, leaving the planet clean and tidy and back to its base elements to be used by the next who come along.

The part from 2:55-3:11...dam, I could watch that 100 times, and it would never get old. As Atlantis is cracking through the sound barrier with a blasting guitar, it gives the image of a guy with a mullet at the controls, hammering the throttle and screaming, "Let's see what this baby can do!!" 3:10 -"See ya!" You timed that perfectly. Good show!

My late Father in Law was an Aerospace engineer. Was the type of guy that showed up at Stanford and took the entrance exam and smoked it. Attained a Masters Degree in Electronic Engineering.

Seen it launch from Orlando back in 93-94 at night, and man that is such a beautiful sight to behold!

Definitely a shame about Brad Delp,I grew up with Boston blaring from both my uncles cars and this is another masterpiece by Delp and Tom Scholz,ugggh spellchecker,who in my opinion is one of the most innovative and talented guitarist of his time.Boston is sooooo underrated and definitely deserves more accolades.

Dynamite Get down steady rhythm. The Bass and drums give it power and it's off. Brad Delp was a Real Rock singer with terrific range. This group really introduced a progressive rock with the right engineering approach in Vocal and instrumental output.
