@@QuietTechYT Yeh, i have some keys like the spacebar which is not entirely different and the alt and tab keys are way more clicky but the rest is more silent

i taped mod my akko mod007b he and yea it helped, it made it sound more poppy and thocky much more compared to traditional switches with a cover on the bottom of the housing

@@darkxneyt3968 looks like the akko mod he board is quite different, having sockets for mech switches as well, which i did not know. the board im using now, the AS K85 HE, didn't sound much different with a tape mod, and im wondering if that's related to the PCB not having any holes or sockets. very different than the akko. i have a mod007b he on order and am eager to try it out

That's fully up to preference, so I wouldn't be able to recommend one of them. It all depends on which you like.

These switches have a hole at the bottom of the switch, so there's no suction created by the stem.

Yeah, it's not very common.. But works great!

If you check my channel, there's also videos of the keyboard where I didn't change the switches. This was just a showcase of what it "could" sound like with different switches. Hope that helps!

With the new updated switches, it could sound similar to this. But the old ones need some lube. Hope that helps!

yes they come pre-lubed pretty decently actually, but if you like a deeper sound profile you should lube lightly over the factory lube.

No, I keep the foam.

There's quite a big difference, especially the old version of the magnetic switches.. But there's an updated version now which sounds closer, but still pretty far off the sound of the normal once.

Hi, that's weird.. It should work straight out the box with any 3 pin switches.. Try downloading their software for the new magnetic switches.

@@QuietTechYT yes i do have the software the latest one i tried replacing all the switches but still doesnt work i even contacted akko and they haven’t replied yet even on their discord

when you reseat the switches you have to click calibrate in the software in the switch customization tab@@OneTrueLove
