I know this is an older video so you may not see my comment but man I really resonated with this video and wanted to thank you for uploading it. I and really looking forward to more video's if you choose to start making them again, you are so talented.

We shared some similar life situations and resonated with you, mostly. I graduated in 2008 and similarly started work in the midst of the great financial crisis. Started my career break in Sept 2022 and got my 2b license from BBDC in 2023. Experienced the same scarcity mindset, fears and anxiety. Learned similar lessons like you did but you articulate it so much better and are so much more wholesome than me. Also doing what I always wanted to do with my life. Let’s make the “dreaming” work! 2 years on, still dreaming.

Thank you for sharing. That was really helpful. I’ve been on my break for 9 months and I’m starting to feel the anxiety of “will I be able to get another role that pays as well as the last” but watching this, I realised I was working a job I hated, because of the scarcity mindset. Earning a lot, but losing sleep, my sense of self and my mental health. I’m starting to thinking about what I’d truly love to do, and that’s taking time, but I’m sure my future self will thank me? 🤞🏾

when i passed my test years back , we were all gathered in a room & a guy was so happy to and was talking about which buy he's getting , only for the instructor to call his number and told him that there was a mistake in calculating his points , and he failed . u never really passed until u sign the green/pink form ( i cant rmbr what color it was )

Keyword is to not give up! I first took 2B lesson back in 2010, didn't complete it and then adulting happened. Tried again in mid-2022, and got the license 6 months later! Now mid-2024 just gotten my 2A. Hope to get the full license by end of 2025!

Thank you for sharing. I stumbled upon your video and next Friday is my last day of work. I had to leave due to burn out and anxiety. Dreaded work everyday! I do not have any plans yet but it is scary being in my 40s. I'm glad to know that someone else in Singapore is on this journey.

How does the Vespa ride compared to the bikes at the school? and how much did it cost? also any rain gear to recommend? Thanks for the insight. Mentally preparing myself now to expect failure but to bounce back!

Hey buddy, congrats on your 2B license.. as this was 10 months ago, in 2 months time u can upgrade to 2A, don't worry it wont be the same proceess as 2B. 2A and 2 will be only in circuit. If im not wrong 3 riding sim, 1 theory lesson and abt 2 or 3 practical lesson and last of all practical test. Abt 1 month plus to complete everything for 1st attempt of the test. I think vespa 300 will be your next target, if not, triumph 400 scrambler is something else too..

Rohit, my man. I truly resonate with you here. I was actually looking for people who have had a career break (I took my break 11 months ago) - and this video made me feel not alone in this. I was working in consulting for close to 5 years and then took time off to travel, give some time to my passion and just rest.
