Good question. The reason I don't run pretty much any of the good stuff is, well... I was a player coming back into the competitive scene. I simply scraped up what I had and what I could find at the time, and I was successful. I added One For One in the meantime, though, that one's a must. Honestly, I'm really surprised with how little this deck had at the time, yet how well it performed.

Boy, I did NOT expect such an old video of mine to get a comment XD but it's quite simple: it's basically drawing - really, really slowly, pixel by pixel. A tip would be to take just black blocks, and make the outlines, then continue from there. You also make a map, or a pixel artwork version of what you want to make, and then just transfer it onto the bigger picture.

Can't really remember, sadly. I only know it was a tier 1 deck at the time, but I do remember 2nd place going to Blind 2nd Numeron deck. There were 3 decks in top 4 that nobody expected next to plenty other tier 1 decks competing at the time, Eldlich and Floo being some of them.

Greetings to Serbia, my neighbor :D We have a few game shops here in Bosnia, in particular in Sarajevo, Zenica, Banja Luka and Tuzla. There are a few people here who sell either singles or cores, but it's not like there's too much to find, we're far behind from bigger countries and their player base. Some people here order singles from Cardmarket to different countries to their friends and relatives (they don't ship to Bosnia), others order from Ebay (very expensive and not recommended).

Pendulum Summon was conducted from the hand. The monster that came from the Extra Deck is the same one, Gate Zero, but with the effect to be added to the Pendulum Zone, not for a Special Summon.

Thank you! :D Gotta say, I never actually tried playing Splashmammoth, but it looks like a card with potential. The only downside is that it's neither a Dragon nor a Level 7, but it does have synergy with the dragon strategy. It can summon Vortex all by itself, which is actually great! I will probably give it a try in some Performapal Odd-Eyes variant. As for Golem, you mean U Go Golem? In that case, it's strictly worse than Splashmammoth in a more dedicated Odd-Eyes build, due to having level 4. Then again, not bad for a Performapal variant (I don't have much experience with the Performapal variants, sorry). And I do run Albaz still, however, pure Odd-Eyes, even with a Branded engine, can't do anything in this meta, to be honest. Even this deck here is strictly better than my best pure Odd-Eyes version. And I even upgraded the Branded deck, and still can't top locals. Simply put, the meta is disgusting.

Hi, thanks for the heads up! Yeah, admitted, sadly it's a bad habit due to the fact I only ever play against guys irl, so it kinda got stuck in my subconsciousness. Plus I do this without a script, so yeah. Hope I didn't offend anyone, and if I did, I apologize.

Hi, thank you very much! Oh, but you're missing one very important card here: PERFORMAPAL Odd-Eyes Dissolver ;) he's both archetypes. He alone can fuse himself with any level 5 or higher monster, even in the Pendulum zone.

Hi there! I really appreciate your comment. Sadly, due to work and other obligations, I am unable to actively work on this deck. There's also the factor that the new support opens up way too many possibilities, and drastically changes the deck style. I would have to bury months and years of playtesting just to try something new and adapt to it, and there's no way I can get as good with it as with this build. At least that's what I think. But hey, if there's ever an update, I'll gladly make a video and upload it :3

Thank you so much for the kind words! ^^ For now, I only added the new Ritual Odd-Eyes, plus Advanced Ritual Art. It works amazingly well so far! The problem is, however, what to cut. Still working on it. Will try some more stuff once I get my hands on playsets of Ladyange and Gentrude. The Performapal version seems to have lots of potential now. In the meantime, I might simply make a combo video for the current one.

You're seeing it correctly indeed. No handtraps. Good decks will break through handtraps anyway, like with Brave engine for example, and it you will lose a card you could've used for breaking the board. (Not saying Imperm is bad, but it would suck to draw it on your first turn and not have your combo.) Pure Odd-Eyes is simply a deck that cannot afford running handtraps, because it often uses its entire hand to set up or break a board. It doesn't have any 1 or 2 card engines that get the deck going. However, it makes up for it with great board breaking potential, and excellent 1st turn board, with main deck alone.

Thank you so much! Indeed, no one expects it. I had a duel where my opponent played Dark Ruler No More on me, and thought he was safe. I just flooded the board with Albion, Lubellion and Mirrorjade out of nowhere (he had a Light monster), and next turn I OTK'd.

The basic combo requires you to have 2 monsters on the field, 1 of them being Gate Zero, and the other one a dragon. Also, you need 2 Odd-Eyes scales, one of them being Arc Pendulum. Use Gate Zero to destroy itself and the lower Pendulum scale, and summon Albion. Trigger Gate Zero's 2nd effect, it places itself in the Pendulum zone, and trigger Arc Pendulum to summon Dissolver. Use Dissolver to fuse it with Gate Zero for Vortex (it's your 5th summon), and then link away Albion and the other dragon into Spheres. End phase, Albion can either add to hand or Set Screams. So during your opponent's turn, you have Arc Pendulum for floating, Vortex for omni-negate (1 interruption), Spheres for bounce (2 interruptions), Albaz summoned off Spheres (3 interruptions), which usually goes into Mirrorjade as a 4th interruption. So 4 interruptions + floating into another possible interruption or another floater (Persona or Wizard), plus Screams, if they get rid of Vortex.

Hey there! Thanks for such a nice comment! I'm happy that you liked the video! Now, the board with Spheres, Vortex, Absolute and Screams is not completely invulnerable to Nibiru, as the 5th summon would be Absolute. The idea is to normal Darkwurm AND Pend Summon 3 Level 7's, of which 1 is Gate Zero. Xyz the remaining two into Absolute, use Gate to destroy an Odd-Eyes scale other than Arc Pendulum, summon Albion. Arc Pendulum summons Dissolver, and Gate Zero goes into scale. Fuse Dissolver and Gate Zero into Vortex. Link the remaining Darkwurm and Albion into Spheres, set Screams with Albion. The combo is possible with Sky Iris too, while setting up Vortex before going into the rest of the combo. But you need a bunch of Level 7's in your hand for it to work. But that way, it's easier to handtrap with Ash, leaving you with a potentially mediocre board. If Darkwurm or another card manages to bait Ash, however, things look a bit better.

@@SilentHorusKnight Oh now I see! Thanks a lot for the write-up, I was missing one level 7 haha, now your ratios start making more sense. Btw in my list I swapped one Pendulum Dragon for the DIFO Pendulumgraph and added x2 Gentrude, x1 Ange with Beyond the Pendulum in Extra (plus a bunch of older Performapals such as Monkeyboard, Joker and Sorcerer). This package opens up a nice new two card combo route with Dragon Shrine/Foolish Burial and Joker in hand (obviously not HT/Nibiru proof but still fun to make): - Foolish the Darkwurm, Darkwurm effect, Special the Darkwurm, add Gate Zero; - NS Joker, effect, add Monkeyboard, scale the Monkeyboard, effect, add the Gentrude and scale it; - Link the two into Beyond, Beyond effect, add the Sorcerer, Pendulum summon; (hopefully you have at least a spare lvl 7 in hand). The board at this point is Sorcerer, Odd-Eyes level 7, Gate, Joker and Darkwurm from Extra; - Sorcerer effect, pop the scales, add Gentrude and Ange, Gentrude in Extra Deck effect, place Dissolver in scales; - Spicy bit imo: Ange effect in hand, discard Gentrude and Ange, draw 2; - Now for the final board (personal preference) overlay Joker and Darkwurm into Abyss Dweller, fuse with Dissolver whatever you had in hand/you drew with Ange/the level 7 you summoned as a last resort for Vortex, pop the Dissolver with Gate into Albion, Link away Albion, Darkwurm and Beyond for 2400 atk Apollousa. End phase set Screams. If you also open/draw a spare Arc Pendulum, you can scale it before the Gate Zero pops the Dissolver for another Level 7 to go into Absolute protecting the Apollousa or a Persona Dragon. What do you think? I'd really like to see your take on the DIFO supports, perhaps in another profile? Keep up the great work!

If you want to hard lose to Ash and brick even more, then sure. This deck has much more synergy than a Magician variant will ever have. Then again, pure Magician is indeed more consistent than pure Odd-Eyes. But you might wanna check out my combo videos. Even though they're outdated, the play style is basically the same, with the addition of Albion and Albaz for search and disruption, plus, it's resilient to Nibiru and most handtraps.

P.S. Is Gate Zero the only way to summon Meteorburst? They're both level 7 but Zero doesn't allow it to be Synchro or Xyz material. Is that a situation where you need a low scale or trigger Arc so you pop a card for Meteorburst and rescale the Zero?

@@christianlay-geng Thanks a bunch! To answer both of your questions now. First off, we didn't get the new sets here yet, so we didn't have access to any of the new Odd-Eyes/Performapal support. Ange/Gentrude seems like an amazing addition to Odd-Eyes, and I would love to try it! And yes, Beyond the Pendulum will be a staple in the Extra Deck, once I get my hands on it. But I'll most likely keep the two Spheres. I even tested this deck on Master Duel (minus Branded Fusion), where I have access to Electrumite. The only time I go into Electrumite is that I get handtrapped so badly that I can't go into Spheres. But I do manage to make a decent board thanks to Electrumite himself in those situations. I did run into a Scythe Lock on the regionals. Believe it or not, I won that game/match, purely due to having such strong floaters. Odd-Eyes Wizard Dragon is the best way to go against Scythe lock. You go for partial board breaking, and leaving floaters on board to survive for the turn, and OTK the next one. As for Meteorburst, no, I don't even summon it via Gate Zero. Nor Synchro Summon it. Albion is the only target for Zero that makes sense. Absolute Dragon, however, summons the Meteorburst, and helps in getting to a field of Vortex, another Absolute, and Spheres, with a set Screams, and a threat from Albaz from deck, granting you the following: an omni-negate, an attack negation (in case you go into Sloth via Spheres), a non-target bounce, a Super-Poly after the bounce, and if your Vortex gets sent to GY you can revive it via Screams. AND your Odd-Eyes float thanks to Arc Pendulum in the scale. Also, this board can fight through Dark Ruler No More. Once I surprised the opponent with an Albaz from Spheres, into Albion, into Lubellion, into Mirrorjade, despite them having DRNM. Another valid option is to use Spheres to tribute Absolute, letting you summon a Vortex, which is an unexpected bounce AND an omni-negate.

@@christianlay-geng Oh, and one more thing: I usually use Spheres to destroy my lower Odd-Eyes scale, to summon Albion, which gets linked into Spheres. I don't even need to Synchro or Xyz the stuff I summon off Gates. Then I re-scale Gate Zero, and Arc Pendulum summons Dissolver, who fuses himself with Gate Zero into Vortex.

@@christianlay-geng Will do! I already got my hands on the new Ritual monster, and will test it soon IRL! And yeah, Albaz isn't that good in Master Duel, as there's no Mirrorjade. But I still run Albion on Master Duel, simply so I can set or add Screams. An additional card to bring Vortex back is never a bad thing, especially when it's a free search with no cost :) hence I believe Gate Zero will become an absolute staple.

I saw another combo video that used odd eyes, dragon link, and phantom knight cards and the video stated this card is supposedly powerful. @@Baby-Blue-102 I actually tried it. It isn't bad, and can even trigger Arc Pendulum's effect. However, I found that simply having 3 of each Gate is more than enough to not need Supreme King Odd-Eyes. Plus they're level 7 so they synergize with the deck much better.

@@Baby-Blue-102 There is one mini engine I came up with, that actually makes great use of Supreme King Dragon Odd-Eyes now. But relies on hard drawing Starliege Seyfert. Basically, the goal is to normal summon Seyfert, send it and Darkwum from hand as a cost to the GY, and add Supreme King Dragon Odd-Eyes, since it's a Level 8 monster. Then revive Darkwurm, add a Gate. Use Supreme King's effect, sac Darkwurm, destroy itself and search the other Gate. Use the two gates, and add yourself a Branded Fusion to hand. Plus, if you have Arc Pendulum on board, it will also get triggered by the destruction of Supreme King. Summon Dissolver with it, and use it to fuse itself with Arc Pendulum into Vortex, leaving free space for both Gates! However, it is questionable if you should run Seyfert at all.
