I have been stitching for 50 years now and I know what you mean about getting bored with the same project. I now have 33 projects that I can switch off and rotate them and now I do not get bored with stitching at all. Your fabrics are so beautiful. My highest count is 20-count aida because my eyesight is old. My go to is 18-count aida 2 over 1. I started on Halloween my very first full coverage piece and it is called Toil & Trouble and I am doing it on 18-count White aida 2 over 1 and the aida size is 29' x 39" and it has 96 DMC Floss colors. It is the biggest project I have ever worked on in my life. I am sure I will not finish it but it will go to my daughter so she can finish it when I am gone. Happy Stitching.

Hi Phoebe Love your WIPS - Beautiful Progress especially on your Mirabilia Project. Love the Colors of this one. I am stitching on Once Upon A Fairytale - Heaven And Earth Designs - Aimee Stewart is the Artist and Michele Sayetta is the Designer. I am also stitching on Pandemic by Long Dog Samplers. I am using DMC #321 for the entire project. I am reading A Killer Plot by Ellery Adams. I use to do lots of Paint By Numbers - I love doing those. My Second Mom painted the New York Skyline with on our living room wall and it was so neat. I loved looking at it. She used either Oil Paints or Acrylic Paints. I forget which one she used. It was beautiful. Than my one brother decided to paint all of the living room walls so the New York Skyline was covered up. I was so dang mad at him for that. Love the progress you have made on your projects. I am stitching Autumn Sampler by Crocetta a Gogo on 18-count Vintage Country Mocha aida and doing it 2 over 1. It is a very big sampler but I am loving it. You said your birthday is August 7th well mine is August 8th. I started Summer Quaker for my birthday start so I should pull it out on the 8th every month too. You have great ideas on how to work on your projects. I do not have a tiny wheel to have it pick for me so I just pull one out and do 100 stitches on it. Happy Stitching.

Lovely to find you and see all your lovely stitches! When I lace I use DMC Cordonnet Special. I think it is for crochet but it is nice and strong and on a ball so you can have a really long piece! I'm now going to watch your New York youtube as we are going there for Christmas!

I have been to New York - Went to Corning New York and went to the Corning Glassware - got to watch them blow Glass and made it into a bottle. It was really neat to see. I love Corning Glassware - it was a fun place to walk through and just stand there and watch them Blow Glass. I don’t know if they still let people walk through the Corning Glassware Place or not. I got post cards and a flip through fold up picture booklet of this place. I have read the first three books in the Throne Of Glass Series. Listen to them on Audio Book. When I've laced/framed stuff in the past, I've used Quilting thread. I think it's a bit thinner than the upholstery, but just as strong.
