I think a lot of us who like being in the garage or the shop making cool projects are all in this together, and mistakes happen to all of us. I know some people who build simple projects and a few woodworkers who make very high-end furniture, and we all have mishaps. As long as we learn from them, correct it the next time, and move forward, then that's when we really start getting better. It's awesome that you started your own woodworking business. Learning how this works is important if you want to properly manage the wood’s movement and successfully store lumber. A rub-on, oil finish is easy to apply and retains the wood’s natural matte finish and color. Be sure to evenly finish all faces of your project to create an even seal! @hardshellwoodworks Месяц назад

Hey Allison, Thank you. It's definitely a fun project. If I understand your question correctly, 04:20 , someone could use a longer cut-off up against the fence instead of square stock/scrap to make sure the pieces stay at the same angle. However, I think that to keep it flat to the base of the saw and the back of the piece, they would need to "shim" a piece in behind it and the fence to keep it from rolling when it gets attached. It might make it easier in the long run. That's actually an excellent question. Honest answer, I don't know🤣
