How To Shape Your Shots (Course Management)
Going down this week and staying here. Cant wait to play.
I'm a single digit handicap and I play a Heavenwood because I like to score low. Its great for 2nd shot on par 5 approach, chipping and long par 3s. I can make this heavenwood go standard 200 or step on it and flight a 240 yarder out of it if needed. No ego here. Just play it.
IMO, these grips work great for people that grip the club lightly and have loose arms and wrist. Using a more body swing allowing the club and arms to stretch out naturally and effortlessly.
You used more lower body on the range. You’re swinging with your arms on the course.
RUclips golf is blowing up, where’d you go ?
The Max was not designed for your swing speed. I am in my 70's and the pro - V feels like a rock to me. Plus the reason you are seeing more yellow balls on the Senior tour is because of visibility. Unfortunately the Max is not being made in yellow anymore,I believe, but I can still pick up the white Max in the air much better. AND it is about 1/2 the price of a Pro- V ! Fun review though thanks .
Sp you compared a 6 dollar ball to a 1.50 ball lmao 😂
The problem you club speed is faster than what the Callaway is made for slow speed
used to use huge grips. Going back to them
Thx. Playing Black this Spring along with one other at Bethpage. Looking forward to this time out there.
Playing this course this weekend. Does it have a driving range?
Im fighting arthritis in hands a little and find the larger size easier on my hands/forearms. Have the jumbo XL on 5-P taylor made p7mb. I wear XXL gloves. I thought maybe too big but ive moved my grip around alot the past 54 holes. Baseball bat grip at first was okay for 3 holes and then sliceville. Turning hands over is hard with the big grip - but if choke up on the cub one inch it comes alive. New to me clubs are +1/2” and my longer arms prob need -1/2” shaft length. Ive moved grip to semi-interlocking and found if I relax my grip right before swing it all stays loose and comes together. I ordered a set of streights from mfg website for 14.5 ea in XL and they feel smaller end and fatter in finger grip, and easily to flip - just installed on the woods. For an unknown reason, the 5, 9, and PW are absolute sparkling. My short game with these grips is off the scale for me - I would def test on PW first - they seem to keep the face square in rough more - due to the oversize. Im also WAY less sore in forearms and hands. Warning - when you return back to a regular grip you do feel like its a pencil. Dont think im going back - maybe just to L on a few clubs if any. They DO break in after about 60 shots. Would bet they need replaced from foam breaking down over time and your grip imprinting in the foam, which is what I feel already in the PW. Last hole i landed 15y in front of a mature washngton palm blocking an eagle green layup on a dog right and with these im thinking - yes it can clear the palm, and it did onto the front apron. Puts a smile on an old guys face returning to golf.
I like your swing. Just sounds like controlled power.
Do you have counterweights in your clubs?😸
I played from the points tees (only 5300 yards), and it’s crazy how different each tee shot looks from the ripper tees. The landscape is so dramatic that a few yards difference on each hole makes it looks like an entirely different course.
Cobra makes the best drivers woods and hybrids on the market. Specially radspeed and ltd. Those hot rails do wonders
Man I just played here for an outing over the weekend for the first time and I loved it. Just watching videos of other dudes playing it on RUclips because miss it already!
All honesty, this was a great review. You seem to be a solid ball striker and golfer. Having said that, most folks are not lol. The max seems like a solid ball imo. Never have played them but I have a dozen someone left in a bag of clubs I bought. I'll have to try them once the snow stops flying in Michigan. Thank you for an honest review. Compared to a pro-v1, which is the standard all others are compared too this was spot on for a "normal" golfer.
This is a really well done video. Camera shots are great and the focus on the sounds of golf instead of having music in the background is awesome. Most people watch to share the experience as it was for the person who played, so well done!
This ball will never catch on.
350 yard drive on #4. Is it downhill?
I hate slow play. Throws my game off.
3:50 Nice Story dude but I reckon "little potato guy" is your Bryson Dechambeau golf bag dolly buddy..
meant to ask what jumbomax model did you use?
was wary about putting them on wedges as scared id lose the feel, but after watching your vid might try them,
thanks for great video, nice swing man, just fitted these to my driver and irons, apart from wedges, really love them , suffer bad arthritis in shoulders from old sports injury and these really seemed to help, I went for ultrlite large size , really comfy grip, greetings from Ireland
This ball is made for a slower swing speed than this guy has---of course it's going to feel mushy to him---40 compression.
Definitely total and not carry. Hanging on your back foot and leaning back so much like you do, results in higher flight and thus less distance.
They are for a slower swing speed.
i went medium size str8 ultralight grip.... probably the best grip i have ever used.... that XL size grip is a monster and probably to big for you....Not sure how big your hands are... Im 6'4 250 and wear an XL golf glove... when i did the online fitting with jumbomax it recommended the medium size...
I’m wondering if a slower swinger golfer should review them…if that’s who they’re made for. But I really don’t understand the mechanics of the game. So I don’t know.
Just ordered a women’s sim2 max 7 wood to match my sim2 d driver and sim2 ti 3 wood. Was going to get the 5 wood ti and just crank the loft to 21 but I decided the 7 wood was better. Since my 3 wood is cut down 1.5” I’m going to use a 3 hybrid shaft in the 7 wood
Why women’s?
@@thattrillYT Taylor made didnt make a 7w for men. I had to order it from Canada (golfavenue), put in a fw kbs shaft and it money

@@Teadrinker710 Dang! Great tip
I played Disney palms an it is a beautiful golf course and I loved playing there
My new 2021 RADSpeed 10.5º standard driver will be delivered tomorrow (Dick’s Sporting Goods has them reduced by $150.) I would love to have seen you switch the front and back weights to see what kind of difference that makes. Still, a fun video…thanks!
Are u on Instagram or have more instructional videos?
I have this same club .. it’s the best it’s crazy good
The most basic thing for higher handicappers it's psychologically simple...it's bigger so easier to hit
Nice sticks. (But I don't know how anyone can play with Winn grips. They are so spongy and slippery).
Great video I hear Darth Vader breathing in the background lol
Lmao yeah a mic is the next purchase
I have a question on your new grips did it lighten your swing weights with the larger grip? I like following Bryson also he is good for the game.
Good question, they are actually very light for their size. Only about 49g, which is actually slightly lighter than a standard tour velvet grip (~50g) so it didn’t effect swing weight!
If you widen your stance. The ball will fly lower. Also the make your follow threw alittle shorter will do it also
That the thing about Tobacco Road, you either love it or hate it. I LOVE IT. Always play when we get to Pinehurst area.
Good to see the Chanel growing dude 💪
Thanks Murray! 👊
Another banger!!
I just bought the standard size, which is the smallest. I am going all in....playing them for a year and giving me a chance to adapt. Good video....should give an update on going to a larger grip.
I’ll definitely be giving an update sometime next month. So far they’ve been great!
I have a bad left hand, so taking the hands out and relaxing the forearms are going to be a plus for me. Tennis has large grips on rackets for more control!
Get a vacuum in the bag for that mat
Just creating an imperfect practice surface. If I can make it on that mat, a flat green is easy 😂
Love TR, The second I saw 143 8* iron on 9 I knew you were going to be short. Toughest approach shot on the course IMO.
That shot is ridiculously hard, I nutted that 8 too lol
What a rollercoaster day for Bmo's putter lmaooo
Oh why don’t you stop?
Why don’t you use an iron Byron to measure? OU RUclipsrs use your own shots where they might be miss hits
