    During the week I set my alarm for 4:45 in the morning. My alarm goes off at 4:45 ,then I wake up and few minutes after waking up I get up to get prepared to go to work. However, on the weekend I turn the alarm off because I don't go to work and it's time for me to get me enough sleep.

    'Who did you call ' it is not an accurat sentence.. It should be whom instead who....using who is Informal

    • @SamsEnglishClass
      @SamsEnglishClass 4 месяца назад

      That’s true. I wanted to use ‘who’ because it is popular. The informal ‘who’s is used so often that it is rare to hear ‘whom’ in everyday conversation. My lessons focus on everyday English more than formal English.

      Yes. That is very formal English. It’s not common in everyday life, but you can say “Whom did you call?”

    • @SamsEnglishClass
      @SamsEnglishClass 5 месяцев назад

      In these examples we do not use the -ing. It is possible to use in the past, but normally not in the future. I will call you when I get home. After getting home, he called me. After he got home, he called me. Both can be used in the past.
