Jack White - That Black Bat Licorice Behave yourself Behave yourself You need to behave yourself, boy She's built for speed like a black castrum doloris Good for the needy, like Nietzsche, Freud and Horus But I'm skinflint broke, making no money, making jokes But baby I won't joke with you My feet are burning like a Roman hypocaust But the Romans are gone, they changed their name because they l...

Such a talented musician, I wish they all would stay out of politics
OMG amazing song
the witcher 3!!
not bad
Kurczę, lubię Was bardzo.
Zew naszej krwi. ❤
Anyone able to send me the spotify link I can't find it there 😢

Hrvatski jezik, kvarnerski dijalekt

Percival is not stealing the songs. They are giving them a second wind, because no one would know of them otherwise.
I just read an article that a musician from Croatia accused Percival of stealing. The question is whether he is the author of the original. And percival does his own version of old folk songs, so there shouldn't be any accusations of theft.
@@PERUN_PLwhere is the article from. If its from a leftoid website, disregard it immediately. its likely false.

This song is on Central-čakavian ikavian dialect of Čakavian language which is spoken in areas around the city of Rijeka known as Kvarner region. Where I live people speak Northernčakavian ekavian dialect, but I also understand Central-čakavian. Here are the lyrics with translation to English: Oj divojko, jabuko rumena (Oi girl, ruddy as an apple) Parih da te ma naranča rodila (I reckon that orange gave birth to you) Nije mene naranča rodila (The orange didn't gave birth to me) Za goru me mat moja rodila (I was born for the hills by my mother) Bura mi je ziparinka bila (Northern wind was my cradle) Zipjuć me je va more stavjala (She cradled me into the sea) Mornari me va mrižu lovili (Sailors caught me in a net) Prodali me biloj Katarini (They sold me to the white Catherine) Katarina dobra žena bila (Catherine was a good woman) Ka je mene mabilu odgojila (Who raised me lovably) Z bilim kruhom i crljenim vinom (With white bread and red wine) 🇭🇷 Ⱂⱁⰸⰴⱃⰰⰲ ⰻⰸ Ⱈⱃⰲⰰⱅⱄⰽⰵ 🇭🇷
great translation, Just 2 things important for context Za goru me mat moja rodila should be translated as "Behind the hill" as it alludes to her being born in secrecy, probably out of wedlock or some similar case. And Zipjuc me je va more stavljala has the correct translation, but it would be "He cradled me into the sea" as 'Bura' is a feminine noun in the Croatian language, but wind is a masculine one in English. The whole song itself is about a beautiful red/orange haired lady who was an orphan that got found by sailors in the sea after which they promptly gave her to Katarina (presumably Kotromanic) who then proceeded to raise the girl.
Also there are a few more possible meanings in the song. Women with red/orange hair were associated with bad omens/witchcraft in older days which could be a reason for her abandonment. This also could be referenced in the verse "kad je mene ma vilu odgojila" (Since she raised me, a fae) Alluding to the fact that Katarina was a good woman since she accepted and raised her instead of shunning her like her mother even though there are bad myths linked to her hair colour. And "s bilim kruhom i crljenim vinom" (with white bread and red wine) could point to the fact that Katarina Kosaca spent the late period of her life and until her death in a female only catholic temple. As white bread and red wine is heavily linked to the Catholic Eucharist

This is sheer greatness.
How do we feel about our Russian slavic family now? I am Croatian, we are all slavs, wtf? Why again is this happening, so another politicians ass need's to be whiped, cause he can 't do it alone. So his "masses" can do it?

Ziparinka really means craddle? I havent found anything more about It.
Yes, but zipka is more common, it comes from "zibati" which means to sway
