His catalog is crazy and Some Kind of Blue was his PR. But he had Bi*ches Brew and so many others. His vocabulary was wide. So yes: Prince is my favorite artist and musician, yet Miles was special, special!

how cool is this? this was a Jeopardy answer this evening so I looked it up; I met Prince when the company I work for did a fragrance for him in 2007…since he was into the number 7 it was launched on 7-7-07; I’m also a musician and I gave him a CD of my mono mix vinyl of Sgt Pepper before it was readily available (the 2009 remasters) he was really cool about that; he knew exactly what it was & why it was rare (The Beatles intended us to listen to the mono mixes up to and including 1967) I saw him play 3 different shows in 1 day at 3 different venues including the club they filmed Purple Rain at…I love how Prince is cueing the horns in this clip while Miles is riffing
