I had a 1979 MG Midget, it was the newest car I've ever bought (it had 25,000 miles on it, it was like new back in 1983). I drove it far and wide. And it broke down on me and left me stranded more times than I can count. It was easily the worst, most unreliable car I've ever owned. I hated that car, and ultimately abandoned it at an outdoor storage facility. Strangely, the 1978 MGB that I bought several years later was a very good, and very reliable car! Go figure.

I'm kinda jealous your Rostyle wheels look so clean. Mine are gnarly but the job is a ways down my to-do list.

You need to fix the volume when you talk it's soft and than when u stop the music gets loud again..

I just bought a bottle and liquid looks green yellow not Orange like the label. Anyone else use this product does it look orange for anyone.

Clay, v36 then v38 ( Chemical guys V series ) Use an orange pad for v36 then a white pad for the v38. That is what I used for my OBS Tahoe Limited and it removed the oxidation and scratches.

You do have to remember though that it isn’t a scratch remover

Wax alone doesn't get rid of scratches and swirls along with faded paint, you gotta use compounds, polishes, and glazes. And highly recommend a ceramic coating as well.

Hi, I’m hoping you might be able to help me out. I got one of these. I think it’s the exact model that you have from a friend whose dad didn’t know what he had I think. I know that the fan motor is bad and I got a replacement for it but I’m bind and so can’t work on it to get it Running like it should. I know the compressor is good drinks stay cold and I also know it needs to be cleaned up like what you were doing exteriorly. But I need someone to put the fan motor in it so that it’s a lot quieter because right now it sounds very loud. Who do you recommend that could do this without shipping it?

My coin release works but the doors do not open. Is there a way to override that feature

I bought mine new, I think it was Halloween in 79. The red color was actually a rather orangey red. I ran 20/50 Valvoline racing oil, there was once in cold weather (around 15 degrees F) when it was really hard to turn the engine over. Was rear ended once, by a lady driving her husband's Spitfire, knocked the muffler loose and had to be replaced. The weld wasn't very good and it eventually broke, and that engine gets really loud! I loved using the tonneau cover when parked in the sun during the summer, would walk out, unzip it and climb in, no burning flesh from a hot seat.

Looks exactly the same as it did b4, becasue CG butter is a wax not a cutting polish

For removing the oxidation and adding gloss this stuff worked great

Just saw your video after I did my 1965 square top cavalier Model 64 G ! I removed the evaporater without breaking the original line and freon! Elect. wired brush RUST and acetone wiped! Plugged a few pin holes with quick JB Weld ! Rustoleum self etching primer! Then bought on E-Bay original semi gloss white Hammerite early 1990s with glass flakes, it has been discontinued for years & no longer available in stores ) for a impregnable barrier against water dripping from the evaporator and rusting the galvanized steel bottom tub! Something the manufacturers should have done when they made these machines brand new! Also attached clear plastic tubing to drain hole counter balance. That also was a engineering design flaw ! Thanks for the video and buy " Mexican SUGAR Coke Cola in the bottle for your machine! "

I want to find one just like my 72 midget mallard green with saddle brown interior ,that I had in 73- 74 .With a baby on the way had to sell it for something bigger . Rubber bumpers just don't get it for me .
