    How do you make allowances in voicing for different styles, as in ... a more Baroque sound, a contemporary sound, a French Romantic sound, or do you pretty much only voice in one style?

    • @Chopy61

      P.E. Gottrocks There is only ONE musical standard that EVERYONE attempts to replicate with their instruments: 1980's heavy metal. For thousands of years, bell makers toiled to create the perfect sound to accent heavy metal songs. It wasn't until 1980 that the perfect bells were finally created and used in songs like Hell's Bells, For Whom The Bell Tolls.

    Hello. That's a fascinating video. What's the composition of your metal alloy?

    • @JonasClark
      @JonasClark 9 лет назад

      It varies, but in most cases organ pipes use some combination of tin and lead. The percentages vary widely, depending on the type of tone desired, as the metal composition (along with countless other factors) affects the tone.

    Using cloth is an old trick. Before Nomex people used and I think still use linen. Linen burns up quite fast especially with high lead alloys. Linen has been used for hundreds of years.
