At the time this was being filmed the U.K. was going through the worse wet weather storms ever. So I not surprised you think they look miserable. Even their human counterparts were fed up by this time. Over 6 months we had to endure 11 storms with weeks on end of rain and hardly any sunshine.

Never been on but I will this summer ☀️

Well the amount of people that use to go to weymouth years ago it so easy to get lost my mom and dad did the same where ever we went

The time I went was on the coldest day of the winter but it was worth going I enjoyed it. My had have never been so cold holding the camera. But glad you liked the video

Yes not very cheap at all. Sometimes at these events everything is expensive

Hi went down to bowleaze a few weeks ago seems much btter down there. Has it allways been called beachside i think its a new name. But hope you like working there.

@PlacesOfInterest23 beachside is the gift shop, restaurant, fish and chips, ice cream part. I work on the other side of the funfair at the holiday park.

I Use to drive the bus in that hoilday park years ago but now left the job completely. But seems a nice place. Do you have any info on that Riviera hotel what's happening with it.

@PlacesOfInterest23 all I know about the hotel is it's being refurbished. No idea when (or if) it will reopen. I should look up the planning notice really as I'm always being asked about it lol

What a nice comment sorry about your mom and dad both of my parents have gone as well. The only reason i ended up in weymouth i met my wife on a carboot sale so never went back to brum much. i think years ago the punch and judy shows they could say anythink in the 70s and early 80s and not much would be said. But hope you come back to weymouth getting much better on what i seen today out and about in the town filming. take care for now

Cars, films, fashion, music etc A few years ago I was watching channel 82 Talking Pictures and it aired a film with Oliver Reed and Shirley Ann Field that I knew straightaway I started watching the first seconds of it and I suddenly said to myself - THATS WEYMOUTH The film was from 1961 called THE DAMNED Did you know this? If not please take time to watch it A bit of an oddball film but any film with Oliver in i ❤️ 😊😊

I will have a look at that nice to see some film of weymouth. I was born in 67 but but grew up in the 70s

It seems better this year lot more to do on the seafront. I been down here for about 20 years and never use to go to the seafront it's only since I started filming I go up there now. Nice on a summers day

We used to go same 2 weeks every year for about 15 years. Then we grew up and went other places but this is still my happy place

Yes Had some fish and chips from there a few weeks ago. People say its very nice

It did have a pier but I think it got destroyed by a fire that what I been told. They do have a sort of a pier by the pavilion and the stone pier by Brewer's Quay

Hi well you can not tell with the british weather these days but don't think its to bad in may. For the past couple of years april has been very warm but this april has been very wet and cold but due to get warmer next week

Yes i walked past the clipper and i allways looked at it and i said that must have been a cinama because of the front of it. So i was right they should have kept it looks a nice building. The latest on the clipper is that there is Scaffolding up the front of it so not sure what its going to be next
