Mallory Park - H2 Drag bike on the track Pt 1

The 50th Year celebration of the H2 at "1,000 bikes" Mallory Park, Leics, England. My "Street" drag bike was really out of place here, as you would expect, it was phenominal on the straights and I managed to JUST get iyt into 4th gear at 10,000 rpm and 123 MPH, however, with little of no low down power I was struggling. And teh relatively stock H2's of Kevin Crew and Jonathon Hindle were blowin...

The latest creation by "Professor" Simon Whitelock. And electric powered KH250 B1. The tank is widened as is the tail and seat to accommodate a battery power pack! The engine has had the crank and gearbox removed and now accommodates an electric motor 😱 Top speed at the moment is 50mph with a theoretical 50 mile range. Those figures are work in progress 😎

A One owner H2 that I bought a few Years back, I had a couple of pals here in Florida that had come over from England. We stripped the bike down to a bare frame, cleaned and polished it all and had it up and running a week later.

I’d love to have that. Had one when I was in HS. It was my first street bike
It’s amazing that someone thought of doing this. What a pioneer.
You can really feel the weight difference between a RD-400 (Twin) and my H1-500 (Triple) and my H2-750, I just can’t imagine the extra weight of a 7- cylinder bike? How is it to ride?
That right there is not the original Widowmaker. They turned that one into a family killer.
I just purchased a Concourse Winning 1975 -H2-750 Purple for $35,000, just wanted let everyone understand how valuable these bikes have become. This Man has an absolute Gold Mine!!! I also just purchased a 1969-H1-500 Concourse Winning for $20,000, I couldn't be happier with my new Bikes!! I lusted after these in the 80's when I was 10 years old!!!
I can’t imagine how much it weighs? Nothing worse than a heavy ass motorcycle
That was my bike from '72 to '75; ran like stink, brakes and handling fair.
clutch is down :(
Wow. I have had the pain and pleasure riding a few different models of these. 400s1, 500h1 and short and long frame h2 750's. All are super dangerous. Not for novices. Lots of vibration. Super quick and 750 can wheelie in 3rd gear
wear a helmet
imagine what you can do with a hacksaw
Interesting how the original fuel taps will supply enough fuel and do any of the pistons reach t d c together.
I had a 1969 mach 3 H1 500 very low serial number, paid 300$,1979 or 1980.if I would have kept it..hence the name.
Rick, don't worry about KH's missing m8. 😂😂😂😂
Excellent and I hope one day to visit cheers
❤❤
Allen Milyard didn't build one Honda for goodness sakes. He actually seemed to like Kawasaki's.
The intake whoom songs of those 3 carbs as it climbs up into the power bands!
Wow why.. the kwak H series are superb bikes, leave them alone ..
Should have made it a 666
garbage bike
amazing! but why?😅
Clutch slips from cold as soon as you hit the power. Same as mine 😂
La boutique et le garage sont incroyables, mais la vidéo pas top
Oh how I love the old H2s . Had several but the ‘72 was most fun …… ride a HD now , yawn
Just a little more work to do on this one.
No helmet. Not very smart.
This is a master piece, but after listening to the sound. I feel like the clutch was bit dragging and needs a better more powerful clutch.
I'd like to know what the Number would be to buy 1 of the 500 CC bikes. Ha ha ha, like you would Sell one.
Pppp
Also had the 71 blue 500 which was plenty of power. But I can see someone wanting to go crazy with the seven fifty. Do you ever ride your bikes?
Amazing that the crank seals haven’t given up the ghost.
Rick please new tyres! here, your subscribrers want you alive! best barnfind ever....congrats
That’s a beauty! If the clutch is OK, maybe fit competition clutch springs? I had to do that to an XL500S motor I put into a Honda CB250RS; I put a Wiseco competition hi-comp piston into it. That came in with a bang at higher revs, causing massive clutch slip. All sorted now.
Clutch plates are disintegrated from sitting on half oil or none at all they probably never even check it. Just bellray and gas.
Mouth watering….absolutly mouth watering.!!! The holy grail of the triples. I see the one I had back in the 70s. ‘74 H1.
That thing is cool
Awesome bike just a wonder of engineering
Como podre comprar una maquina asi
There is a video about 9 years old on this bike , non running , I commented that , at the time , it proberably was a non runner , the fact that you only bought it 5 years later and it only has 1300 miles on it , substanciates the theory , because , to get a 7 cylinder to work is a devil on the crank alone . Glad to see it does finally run , but , aftera ride , it leaks feul again ? Sounds like its temperamental and still needs some sorthing , good luck with it .
Why did u move fkn Taxes?
素晴らしい!
I had a 1975 h2 I used to drag race it the thing I hated about it was the front end wobble when u got to 100 mph but man she was fast 😛👍
Sounds like a two-stroke
Give us one um dude?
hmm better than sex !
You are a Very fortunate Man.
Hola,simplemente bestial
Smooooth sounding motor. Insane riding skills, especially with that lane-change and wobble near the end. Dayum, mate!
PLEASE let us know when you are ready to sell.
