Big Bang Theory, first time I heard him utter a word❤ And my goodness, what a lovely voice!
I like his speaking better than Penn's. He has a more melodic voice, so it's softer.
Teller is almost Smith from Matrix
HE CAN TALK ??
No it's a voice over. 😂😂
All these people saying he doesn't speak much... he speaks all the time and there are many videos of him speaking.
Teller's magic is extra special because he hasn't got the aid of verbal distraction. Very few magicians can pull off a silent magic act
I was today years old when I found out their stage name is a joke... Pen never shuts up and teller doesn't say a word.
he has a wondeful voice and he is so well spoken
Hol up, teller is only 7 years older than pen, how was he teaching?
This feels like something I shouldn't be hearing
For someone who never talks, he's great at talking
I swear I thought he was legitimately mute!!! I had no idea he could actually talk!
I met Teller after a show in Las Vegas when I was a teenager and very into magic. I performed a trick for Teller (which I’m sure he knew how to do but he played along nicely) and had a super nice conversation after the show. He is a very genuine and kind person.
i legitimately clicked on this video thinking it was going to be a clever gag where penn actually doesn't end up talking lol
Beta Male Magic
Penn was thinking: “Now this guy isn’t ever gonna shut up.
This is the first time hearing him. Pretty astute.
He doesn't sound AT ALL what I thought it would be, what's next, Penn is actually 5'3 on walking sticks?
0:16 Instantly bodyslams him right off the bat
I always figured that Teller didn't speak because Penn was such a brilliant mouthpiece for their act, that it just didn't make sense for both of them to do it. Trying to keep up with Penn with banter and whatnot would be exhausting for him. Also it created that great juxtaposition of the loud and quiet.
When i learn what someone sounds/looks like it never feels right till i get used to it. This is the first time where im like "yeah thats what he probably sounds like"
Working together for months than 40 years; it is an achievement by itself.
Is he usually quiet then?
How is a guy who never speaks so articulate?
That man should narrate one of those books on tape!
It's obviously fake, thats just Penn practicing ventriloquism
I've only heard Teller speak in Borderlands 3. He voices some random side quest giver. I had no idea until I looked up the voices on IMDB!
Oh I thought he actually couldn't talk
I like to imagine Teller teaching Latin and Greek using the same silent methodology.
Did Stephen segal model his look after Penn or what?
"You feel like an idiot for heckling a silent guy.".....mic drop.......
A voice like smooth butter
See, they got that act from the Alvin Show. Scientist Clyde Crashcup and his silent assistant Oliver.
❤
His voice does not suit him at all. It's a bit like he's been dubbed (even though he isn't)
he talks too much
“And I never talk”
Sure made listening interesting. Very cool.
I actually heard him on a magic documentary awhile ago and again towards the end of The Big Bang Theory as Amy's Dad.
This man is highly intelligent
Clearly his is brilliant.
This is actually the very very first time I've ever heard his voice 😮😮😮😮
Teller tells
Penn's like.. "There's a reason.."
Took my gf at the time to see them all the way back in 2020, just before the lockdown. She and Teller, as it turns out, share the same birthdate and had a nice chat. Both men were gregarious and generous with their time, taking pictures with us.
I literally did not know he could talk
Bros voice is beautiful. Could be a radio host
He is a strange guy talking or not….
This is the first time I have ever heard Tellers voice. Not how I've imagined it. Good to know he has thought.
I love how, in the Futurama movie that had Penn and Teller (Into the Wild Green Yonder), even though Penn was the only one talking, and Teller was quiet as a dead head, they were still in the credits as Penn and Teller. Made me chuckle.
