HI! Thanks for your question. By default Coggle will place things above or below in order to make the tree balanced. To choose exactly where a new item is placed, you can drag on the (+) button instead of clicking on it, or you can use the keyboard shortcut [ctrl] + [shift] + [enter] when adding a new item to always add the new item below the current one. Hope that helps!

If you've added unwanted labels (coggle.help/article/48-add-label-text) to the background of your diagram, you can remove them by right-clicking (or long press) then choosing the X icon. If the unwanted text is attached to branches that you do want, then you hide the text by putting ">" in the item instead. If you're still having problems email hello@coggle.it and we'll do our best to help!

Hi Leo! We don't currently support changing the background colour, but thanks for letting us know this is something you're interested in.

There are two ways to delete - either right click on an item (or press and hold on a touch device) then choose delete from the context menu, or hold the [ctrl] key (or [alt] key also works) and the branch's (+) icon will turn into an (X) which you can click to remove it.

Happy to say this is possible! Images uploaded on our free plan are restricted in size, but images hosted elsewhere, or uploaded by a paid plan can be resized by dragging the lower right hand corner of the image :)

Thanks! Coggle is supported in the browser on Android and iOS (Chrome and Safari respectively) - we have some plans for mobile apps, but nothing we can share just yet.

Hi! Thanks for commenting - The text colour is controlled by the branch colour: to change the colour right-click, then choose the colour menu and select a colour. If you hold [shift] as you click a colour, then it'll only change the colour of a branch, without changing the colour of its child branches! Hi +Dhawal Desai ! You can add small images to diagrams for free, for large images you need to be on one of our paid plans, then drag the lower right corner to resize.

+faizan ahemad Happy to say you can add comments by right-clicking on a branch. We don't support sharing branches among multiple trees - but you can create cross-links between branches. Thanks for the feedback!

To add a checkbox, start a line with - [ ] or - [X] (it's GitHub flavoured markdown syntax for checkboxes) :)

Philip Clark Coggles should show up in the root folder in your google drive (you can move them after that if you like - google drive folders are separate from Coggle folders). If you ever have problems/feedback just email hello@coggle.it and we'll do our best to help

I have the same problem. They often don't make it onto google drive even if they are available on coggle.

Philip Clark If you hover over a Coggle in your documents list, you'll find a duplicate icon which you can use to do this

+Kwak Yes - just hold down [ctrl] and [shift] before clicking the (+) button (it will turn into an (-), which when you click will delete only that item, not its chlidren) :)

Wish I could have a black color option though like MindMup which isn't as cool.

i have also feedback for you - i just wanted to try coggle out and before i am told anything, i am already asked if i prefer concept map or mind map - but guess what?! i have no idea! no one else differentiates those, only you, for others that is the same, so how do i know what is the difference? and when i try to find some info i see your promo video in which you call it a diagram? so what should i choose? what is the difference? when you have such idea, you should explain, not ask me who has no idea how did you mean it, what is the difference. and if you create terms, then stick with it! i am lost now.
