I`m ex army. I`ve got a mate who lives in one in Scotland. I stayed there for the weekend but the tales of grief he was giving were unreal. He`s a genuine bloke, not a whinger but he doesnt get on with the family that owns the site anymore for whatever reason. Mostly about the way he was treated by the owners. Theyve got him by the balls over just about everything and they know it. His life is a misery. Unless the site was owned by one of my relatives OR one of my mates was living in one and giving me the thumbs up about the site and the site staff, I wouldnt risk buying one.

Lack of on-site services is a problem of that site, and you should be compensated for this and they should fix it! Appreciate the honesty here, but it honestly seems like you've had a bad run there.

I mean in todays society etc worth of currency etc, we survive, rich ass people not so much, every other common folk tho, chase money until we retire, even then thats bugger all to what die? We survive, grandparents lived, mid 20s own a home, have a car, able to have fun, now its usually renting, being in a shit ton of debt your whole life from student loans etc, so when you do get a job, your income goes straight on bills, paying back said student loans etc, to be old, retire, probably struggle in retirement like ive seen some elderly doing.....its very rare now if someone actually lives life, we tend to get by scraping and surviving

They are a total waste of money. You are duped into the chatter “needing to sharpen their pencil” to make you a better offer - reality, they put the price up to begin with - then drop it to the actual price they originally intended to charge - giving you the impression you are getting a better deal. Then you need to take into account the annual fees, gas bottle chargers, electric, water and restrictions of how you use the mobile home. You can only sell it back to the park at a heavily reduced amount (hardly anything) and you only have a ten/15 year period of your home (unless it’s a second hand unit - which means far less period on-site) if you don’t sell it to the park, you are instructed to get the unit off site without delay at your own cost. Please, please, please… DON’T BOTHER WSTING YOUR MONEY!
