This was such a good album! All songs are hit for me too but my absolute favorite has to be hala hala, say my name, desire,light, and promise.... Oh shoot.... I said all of them lmaoo... And im late i know, exams are messing me up and i love to see this series always... Also the copy incident was pretty wild... The fandoms reunited lile crazy against plagiarism against kpop and especially small groups with small companies... Wooyoung is such a little savage for doing this! We love love it... I felt so proud of him lol... Also Anze made the choreo and the famous step which was copied by Vata and he took all the credit (that shit). But thankfully Wooyoung spoke about it and gained a lot of support. I cant wait till Matthew hears Good lil boy, deja vu and to the beat... There os so much fun time ahead! I ALREADY CANT WAIT! anze skrube (one of say my name’s choreographers) confirmed that vata (another choreographer) plagiarised the dance from ateez, basically claimed the dance as his and it went pretty viral for zico’s song. wooyoung did the biting gesture when ateez performed say my name in 2022 if im not mistaken, the biting is a silent statement that’s used for dancers to call out those who copy other dancers’ moves. anyway everybody knows now that the dance is ateez’s :) welcome back to you and your brother! i hope you had an amazing time watching ateez live, was an outer body experience, no? 😂 i’m so glad your brother is listening to the songs with such open mindedness, glad that you like the songs too. hope you both can always enjoy ateez in the future! a little note, because your brother seem like he notices joong and mingi a lot of times, i was discussing this with a fellow atiny, something that we see in majority of kpop groups (esp. where the rappers write and produce the songs), they start pretty rap heavy, and then once they find their niche they become more even for the members, more levelled out. so i’m excited to see how he’ll react to the newer albums, where the raps aren’t as heavy. and it’s not a bad thing, just that it shows they have found a formula that fits, and yes while i do miss the rap heavy songs, it’s so good that they’re even with the line distribution nowadays. and with 8 members, i think ateez is one of the best in terms of line distribution in the industry. each of them has had a time to shine.. (but anyway while typing this i guess this note isn’t that relevant.. since the raps nowadays, no matter how “little” space they get in the songs, are still prominent and blends into ateez’s songs seamlessly). thank you for the video as always!!

Ateez has worked so hard all these years...i am late for this video but to be fair, my exams are going on... Anyways... I think Ateez has experimented with so many genres in their albums... The sound is always different bit also kinda same in a way idk how to explain...just we know immediately that it's an ateez song whenever it plays because the sound is so unique and so them... i love this cause i remember being here for YOUR entire journey into ateez and its like watching it again! (duh) lol i love watching people fall in love with ateez. he seems to really enjoy and appreciate every single song and really goes into small details so im defff very excited to see what he thinks as the albums progress and where their sound is more developed and etc. i know he will loveeeee them more and more as it goes on! this album is iconic such a solid debut~ loveee how you explained to him that they genuinely came from nothing and grew this far from nothing but hard work :') really adds a respect for them knowing that and seeing them now<3 yoo i also just realized im so excited for him to see jonghos solo song later LOL hes gonna dieee at those vocals! also love how he mentioned live performances cant wait for those too

That's relatable lmao. A while ago I promised someone I'd try to get into Ateez so had another friend sit through their whole discography with me in one go.

Actually Ateez starting as "pirates" was a joke among many other kpop fans for a long time. Now is cool but we still hear they are nugu and flop cause they made step by step, they didn't go big fast and to us fans was a journey but to other non fans they can't understand and kind of dismiss cause they didn't see them growing but now they are among bigger groups in term of numbers, concerts, sales but was along 6 years slowly. The first album was very on theme with sea, pirates, adventure but in terms of production is very different, I feel treasure is the one with better production among the songs in the first album, but as a debut is a good ep. They were still teens I think the light and joyfull b sides fit that moment for them, still love the songs, they are fun to listen to but yeah I when we compare to them now is so different but is only natural, I feel they grew with their songs, even in term of sounds and complexity. But I love that they still enjoy their older songs, they are so happy singing them now, they have memory feels nostalgic. They released a special video with My way to celebrate their concert in Morroccos was so pretty. Not sure if you see it. I think your brother was right in his comments.
