This awesome forage is sometimes known as wild carrot or Queen Anne's Lace. Another fun way to remember this plant is 'Queen Anne has Hairy Legs!' and look for the little hairs on the stems 🤣 . . . . . #wildcrafting #edibleplants #wildedibles #foraging #forager #oklahoma #wildernessskills

Great video. We are glad you didn't get stuck on some scary roads. Well done, great guitar music also, We are looking forward to the next one 😊
Thanks brother! You gotta come with us next time 🤙
@ForestDigitalYT That would be wonderful 😊
Having flashbacks of fu manchu trail Alaska.
Backwards walk of shame. 😂
🤙
Your brother would be out fishing
Breakfast of champions
That ride was 🫣.
Cool 😎
I got me one and it’s fun
Heck yeah 👍
I wonder if it would be worth it to stuff a couple more boogie boards along the kayak floor, maybe it would stiffen the whole thing up just a bit more?
I'm thinking of trying this. I tried with construction Styrofoam, but it broke when I got in the water. I'm thinking maybe some plywood, but wrapped with some Marine foam. If I get around to trying it I'll make an update 🤙
.نلبحى 😂❤
😍
WOW so hansome😮❤❤❤
Great video with the mods, thanks for sharing! Quick question, do you think printing a thin floor of 8mm with ABS will add general robustness to the kayak and also stability for the modified seats? Could be a silly thought though…
So I tried something similar, I got some hard insulation foam for house construction and cut it to the shape of the kayak and tried to use it as a floor to provide support. Two issues arose, first when the kayak is in the water, it goes through a lot of flexion. It ended up breaking up the hard foam due to the stresses on the foam. Second, sitting on that foam for hours ended up being extremely uncomfortable even with the sit pad I was using. It could be sturdier with printed ABS, but I imagine it would be just as uncomfortable or more.
@@ForestDigitalYT Thanks for the quick reply! Thought also about those issues. My idea was that printed ABS is robust enough to temperature and tensions to various directions due to specific infill (like grid or higher percentage of infill) + I was thinking to attach a low stadium seat like the one you have bolt onto the ABS floor, expecting a more comfortable position - ambiguous about general stability as center of mass goes up. Anyway, I think worth to give it a try (in a few weeks and can keep you posted). Greetings from Greece:)
Dang. Thanks for posting this- I see a ton of that stuff where I live and I’m glad I can identify it now
Wild carrots grow all over the place here. Great tips though, I always say if the root doesn't smell like a carrot.. it's not a carrot 😀
Thanks! I'll have to try that!
Lovely colors
Its great how you show everything about what you are showing us thanks for making these great video's 👍
Thank you kindly my friend 🌪️
I could so chill with this guy ❤

Glad you like it!

I bought a 12 volt pump for inflating. It comes in handy cause it also deflates
Hmmm... that's a brilliant idea! Thanks for the tip. Gonna try that next time and save my back hahaha
I got me one today
Heck yeah! Fun times ahead 🤙
Where did u get the stadium seat.
Gool ol' thrift store find!
Stadium seat, great idea man. I have the same yak to fish the harbors here. Thx for the video.
I love Zach Bryan good song choice!!
Thanks! My brother tuned me in to his music not too long ago. Good stuff
Is there any better MTB trails in Oklahoma? I'm used to a little more excitement and I heard this is pretty much the best mountain biking. I live here now, so it kind of bums me out that this is the apex of mountain biking in Oklahoma.
Not if you want DH
@@craigcoco6014 I ride cross country and haven't found a lot either. At least not anywhere close
I've been asking around as well and unfortunately, not really. Turkey is pretty much the top. Medicine park, and Stanley Draper are good too but have nothing on Turkey.
@@ForestDigitalYT at least we can find some good trails in Arkansas.
May as well start making the trip to Bentonville on the weekends

I want to know how you call that a Bushcraft knife if she made it out in the woods next to extreme and you smelt it the or yeah that's a Bushcraft knife if you making the backyard of your house not so much you're actually disrespecting the heritage of the Bushcraft knife making
There's no such thing as a Bushcraft heritage. Bushcraft is a silly term for people who like to play around with sticks in the woods like me. I call this a Bushcraft knife because a knife is a tool. This tool needs to be able to complete certain tasks that are used in Bushcraft like batoning, scraping, and gouging as well as be sturdy enough to do these without losing an edge while I'm out. You wouldn't use a boning knife for those because that's the wrong tool for the job.
Bouttagetlme a forge imma make sum tongs tho
Good! I'm using a coal forge in this one but I'd really recommend you get a propane forge. So much easier. And they come with the supplies to make your own tongs!
Very nice ❤
Thank you friend!

You are so talented my friend great guitar music 🎸
Looking forward, to finding those mushrooms.
Let's do it! 🤙
can we get a explains
Yes these are Morel mushrooms. A spring mushroom that's prized amongst mushroom foragers. They only pop up around 2 weeks of the year and they can't be cultivated so if you want to eat these delicious mushrooms they have to be hunted.
savage af pretty badass
That's all you brother 👉😏👉
Don't forget to shake to release any spores. Encourages new growth. I used to hunt these delicious morsels as a kid.❤❤
Definitely! We shake them out and keep them in mesh bags so that the spores release as we walk!
What are those
Mushrums
They are called Morel mushrooms. They're a rare and prized mushrooms amongst mushroom foragers. They can't be farmed so any morels must be hunted like this in the wild. They are also incredibly delicious!
You got this brother
Thanks friend! 💪
I understand brother. I finally had to set up a bow to make the elusive fire.
Thanks. It's real frustrating at times, but I'm gonna keep at it! 👍
LMAO
