Hey man! Thank you so much 🤙 The leader I was using was 16lbs ocean fluorocarbon for the soft plastics and bent minnows and 18lbs Daiwa Fluorocarbon for the swim bait and Jerk Baits! Hope this helps :))

I cast as far as I can, probably 30-40 metres if the wind is right! and I get snagged A LOT!! Probably lose a couple lures every time I fish here

I think they were 1/8 ounce TT size 1. Bait would work but you would get snagged a lot

Yeah, I'm lucky it was a legal sized fish, otherwise I would have had to send it back anyway unfortunately. I can't believe how badly some people treat fish, they give us so much enjoyment the least we can do is respect them, and why would someone leave a perfectly good trout on the bank?! they're great eating, that's just a waste. Yeah that's true, I just enjoy catching them so much that I don't want to have any impact on the numbers in the area. But you're right it doesn't hurt to keep one from time to time.
