This is my first time watching the red table and I enjoyed it immensely! I also have had an interest in history and I very much watch most of the African slavery movies and they have been very hard to endured! Roots was my first series and it was hard to endured! 12 Years a Slaves I think was the last one I saw which again difficult to endure! I have seen many more movies of oppression from different ethnicities which again and again very difficult to endured. I’m watching Outlander at the moment which is interesting and began in the middle 1700’s and how the Scotts and the English landed on the American soil and how America was slowly established after winning the revolutionary war for independence from the English and finally many movies and documentaries on the Tribes of the Indian Nations, including movies of the Kings and Monarchs of Europe and I tell you in my own words “what a gory start the ancestors have had to endure”! I immerse into it all to understand it a bit more and as Will stated folks repeat the same mistakes over and over ! I am looking forward to checking out more episodes of the red table-the more we know is the start to creating a better life for ourselves as a whole…also when you were describing Peter I believe the spirit of Peter might have entered into you! Happened to Jim Caviezel as he described it in the Passion of the Christ! Definitely looking forward to the movie EMANCIPATION ! Very interesting watch ❗️ 😊👍🏼

Its insane were obsessed with slavery instead of making safer communities for our people, anyone with a brain would never live in a ghetto, i was exposed to violence by my own people at a young age, the first man to ever take from me looked like me, he wasnt white, we are our own enemy wake up ans lets be the kings and queens but foreal, and rebuild our black kingdom, and return to righteousness.

I love what Jasmine stated when people were being disrespected in such a way, she knew it didn't have to be her, but she felt as she was being disrespected. We have to remember that if one of us being mistreated it is all of us. Please vote and realize our ancestors risk their lives and died, we can't look short term it's beyond us, it's the people that follow. Please think about how you want your children etc. to live. Our freedom, history etc. depends on all of us. Nobody will fight for us like us. Please think twice about even thinking about voting for a person like TrumPut and Republicans. I bet in my lifetime we will never see a film with how slaves actually became slaves. But I do give you credit for doing this film because kids need to know so it doesn’t repeat itself ever! It seems we are erasing history and kids need to know.
