Josh and His Mother Share How the BRBR and Warrior PATHH saved Josh's life.
Parents are often on the front line to the change in their children when they return from deployments. As was the case with Josh's mother, Elaine, she knew her son was struggling, but felt helpless when he came to finding the help he needed. Then one day, she saw something about the Big Red Barn Retreat and Warrior PATHH, and she reached out. Josh agreed to attend the training. Now, Josh has gone from "to not wanting to wake up everyday" to "I wake up every morning happy." Elaine credits the Big Red Barn Retreat and Warrior PATHH for saving her son's life and giving him purpose.

The Big Red Barn Retreat, established in 2014, was co-founded by Barbara Irons and Sutton Shaw to honor the memory and legacy of Leon Irons, their late husband and father. Leon Irons was born in California, and was one of five boys born to Juanita and Cephus Irons in 1940. He attended high school in Ceres California, where he met Barbara Reeves, who would later become his wife of over 50 years....
