Lets fit a Tail Tidy to my Speed Triple 1200RS
I've had this bike for 3 month and it's time to do some mods. First off I'm going to fit a tail tidy or fender eliminator. The triumph tail is huge and ugly so this is going to look great - if I can do it!

Along with my mate Dave, I went to the Isle of Man TT 2024. We went to watch some racing and we did see some.....eventually! A great laugh, wonderful experience and a fantastic island but they don't let you book the weather! Duke don't sponsor me, by the way, it was just a good travel experience. #iomtt #isleofman #motorbike #bikelife #triumph #speedtriple #speedtriple1200rs

I've now done 20,000 glorious miles on the Z900 through rain and sunshine. But all good things come to an end so I decided to exchange it for a new (to me) Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS. The new bike has big tyres to fill and a whole lot to live up to!

I have collected a number of Top Tips about what you shouldn't do when cleaning your bike. Are they right? Do you have any other things that I shouldn't be doing? Maybe some tips on what I should do, other than giving up making dull videos on RUclips. Anyway, hope it is actually useful and thanks for reading this far. #bikelife #kawasaki #z900 #motorbike #cleaning

Part 1 saw me setting the front suspension on my Z900. Not too difficult but I still had to do a bit of fine tuning. Then it was time for the rear suspension and that was a whole new level of difficulty. OK, so it wasn't too bad and the end result is a far better, more engaging ride that doesn't want to throw me out of the saddle on challenging corners! #z900 #motorbike #kawasaki #suspension

I need to keep my tyres / tires pumped on 2 cars, 2 bikes and endless pushbikes. I also change my own motorbike tyres and so I need something rapid, but a full-on compressor isn't going to get used properly. So what is the best thing I can find for under £50 and will I need a fire extinguisher in case one of them blows up in more ways than one! #motorcycle #motorbike #tyres #inflator #pump

Is it true that this GSX-S 125 is far less expensive to insure than the GSX-R 125, despite basically being the exact same bike? Seems a great bike!

I see 125s out about nowadays that from a distance look like something much bigger; it's really only the L-plate that gives it away. It's like they build them so you can slot in a 125cc engine or a 500. I'm sure they don't but it's how it looks. How much mpg do you get out of that with normal (as opposed to hooligan) riding?

Good to see you back on the tube mark awesome vid again. You should call this marks triumph so I know to stop on the vids lol. I keep forgetting you changed the name and scroll past some times without realising. On the subject of tail tidy I've also just fitted the evotech one to my mt09 and yeah I agree it was well expncive. Also the bolts the use are made of bloody cheese. Had to change quite a few on it. Also after one ride in the wet I've made a slight crud catcher that hangs down from the plate to catch some of the crap as it was a right mess. Nice look on your new bike and the new plate too. You'll have to do a reveiw of the bike soon look forward to that one. Ride safe brah!

Hey Mark, are your bar end mirrors attached to the balancers in some way? I recently installed bar end mirrors, and they take the place of the balancers. However I noticed that riding for any time more than >40 mins my hands start to feel quite numb. (Could also be from the extra vibrations caused from a fullsystem, but that was installed even prior to the bar ends)

The harpic wouldn't do as much damage if it was washed off with regular car/bike shampoo /foam, I was told by various people in the trade and those that work with metal that steel wool is not good to use on stainless steel as it buries itself in the grain of the metal and over time will causes rust.

I've been doing all my tyre changes for a number of years now. Changing tyres is easier if it's a warm day, or if you warm the tyres up before doing the work. I've got a simple bead breaker machine, so that's never a problem. Zip ties work really well - the more you change tyres, the easier it gets, but don't try do the work when the tyres are really cold....they're a b*stard to work with when cold !!

Hope you enjoyed the test ride on a Speed Triple. The extra electronics are great to have and not too much so I like that aspect. Then of course that power which you might not fully appreciate on a test ride. I'm still getting used to it, the speed and excelleration on this thing is simply immense.

Great Video mate! On my third year with my 1200rs and love it more every day! I got a cheap tail-tidy at first (can’t remember the make) but found it looked well…cheap! Ended up going for the Evotech which looks absolutely perfect and as if designed for the bike in the factory. Don’t go for a cheap rad guard as some can restrict airflow, which for a Euro5 hot running bike is not ideal. I also PPFd my black one as modern paints an be a tad shite! Regarding the bike… I had some problems at first which have all been fixed by the recalls and under Warrenty. Had over 7000 miles of trouble free madness since then. Subbed your channel and am looking forward to some more 1200rs reviews ‘n’ stuff
