Beautiful 🫶🏻
@@ROBINstrawBERRYwine thanks 😍
Do you wash your clothes in hot water because I washed mine in cold water because in the UK electric and gas is so high trying to cut back and going back to the old days when I used to watch my mum wash our clothes in the bath
Hey Victor, I rarely wash clothes in hot water, unless the garment is white and I am soaking it with bleach to help it retain the white colour. The rest of the clothes I wash in cold water. I also notice if you use hot water on some clothes, they will stretch and lose shape so we rarely use it. Hand wash definitely saves on cost because it's done manually. Also, the clothes are rarely damaged
@@sharonatieno6880 thank you so much for the reply
@@VICTOR-pf9eg Any time victor 🤗
I just learned something new. Thank you! Rather than using two basin use couple more like you to rinse. Yeah cousin, your clothes look brand new like it just came from the store. You're awesome. Reminds me how they do laundry in fiji. And how I continued the tradition here in the U.S.
Hey Elektra, I'm glad you learned something! When you do it right in the washing, the next bit is to ensure that your last rinse has clear water hence adding more water in the last rinse ..you will love the outcome 😍😍
What do you feed them with ?
Hey James, just chicken manure. I go organic
@@sharonatieno6880 thank you Growing up and going back four generations, that’s all we did too . We prepped the soil with chicken manure and used a tractor to tiller it in .
@@JimKat5646 Amazing! It's interesting to know that this back was four generations! And the outcome is great!
Where is the slaughtering part
Sorry, I lost the video but will recover it soon

@@ROBINstrawBERRYwine 😂😂😂 I can imagine! Hello to you! I'm glad this sparked some sweet childhood memories of you and your grandma! That's why we are documenting the culture, least we forget 😂. Here in Kenya, we are well though the protests are on and off. There are needs that we are pushing to be met

@@user-fh8wq2df4w That's a local detergent found in the supermarket. It's called "msafi" and the other is just a common bar soap called Zenta.

Hello Sharon,I get so hungry every time I watch one of these videos, however I’ve never heard of an editable spider plant 🌱 sounds very interesting.Hope all is well there in beautiful Kenya 🇰🇪,as for me/us here in the USA 🇺🇸 we are gearing up for our new presidential election ❤️🤍💙
@@ROBINstrawBERRYwine Hello Robin, glad to hear from you and yes, the spider plant is edible. Though we often mix it up with other vegetables like spinach to lessen the bitterness and add milk which is the cherry on top 😀 you'll love it! Mostly this is eaten with ugali. Here in Kenya, we have been having lots of protests over the current cost of living. Times are hard for most people and the government keep adding taxes. The worst is that the money they take ends up in corrupt hands and not in development so the youth stormed the streets in large number to reject the finance bill. It been crazy over the past few days but it's beginning to settle. One day Africa will liberate itself. I wish your country the best in the coming elections and I hope that you will elect leaders that are for the people!
Im loving the variety of vegetables in the garden. Thise are really healthy options. Health is wealth! 🤗❤
Absolutely! We must take care of ourselves at all cost by eating healthy

You shouldn't comb your hair while it has shampoo. It will tear your ends. You will have split ends.
Thank you for your thoughtful insight. The shampoo though had a conditioner to make the hair soft .
What the prices of tiles American call blankets
Hello Better, it depends with style and whether the tiles are locally made or important. Different outlets also have different tiles depends on where they source them. Size also plays a key role in determining the prices so we cannot stick to one particular price as of now. I will however give a rough estimate based on size. 30 by 30 would range between Ksh 700 to 900. 40 by 40 would range between Ksh 1000 to Ksh 1800. 60 by 60 would range between ksh2500 and ksh3500. You can however check the video. Various price tags have been listed for your view
Great job in the garden! I love it!
Many thanks Bree 😍
I'm glad I've learned something valuable that I can apply 😍😍 loving the journey and outcome
I'm glad 😊
Hello Sharon, your garden 🪴 is looking lovely and I really like that you gave us dates for comparison.I have planted tomatoes 🍅 cucumbers 🥒 kale 🥬 corn 🌽 carrots 🥕 and melons 🍈 🫶🏻🇺🇸❤️🤍💙
Hello Robin, great to hear from you lovely 🤗 😍....yeah , thought it wise to give the dates. I love the fact that you have planted all the vegetables in your garden! I can just imagine how lovely the place looks like 😍😍
Hello there! Hi Sharon im from the Phillipines and new subscriber here.I deed enjoyed your video.Actually, we do the same here although use of washing machine (manual & automatic)is common some still use hands(the traditional way) in washing clothes.Personally, i still wash by hands tho i have washing machine.i soak the clothes w/detergent in washing machine then run it afterwards rinse it 3 time by hands then afterwich i return the clothes back to the dryer.Rinsing by hands gives me satisfaction. By the way, we use a small chair in doing the hand wash sitting.some houses do have laundry sink so that they hand wash the clothes while standing.
Oh wow, that's a great experience and I can see that we also have some similarities in how we do laundry apart from the washing machines. By the way, mostly when I do hand wash manually, I also prefer sitting down on a small stool to save my back 😍😍. Thanks for subscribing...love the Philippines 😍😍
What a nice kitchen you have very clean indeed
Thank you so much! 😍

Awww how sweet of you!😍 Thank you so much and welcome to my channel! Hope you learnt something! It is my pleasure to pass the knowledge
wow, lots of water for washing the clothes. here in germany, the washingmashines needs little water, but the result is really good because of heating the water up.
Wow interesting! The machines over there must have really nice features. You definitely want the clothes super clean as you save on water 😍 👍

Hello Robin 🤗 veggies are healthy and so is white meat! fish🐠, chicken 🍗 those are good sources of protein....then we alo have the likes of beans which provide plant protein 💜❤️💜❤️
Excellent 👍
Thanks Kate ❤️
It would be great if you had a long table to put all the basins on so you could sit and wash clothes.
Yes that really helps because we also wash the clothes while seated 😊
Beautiful hair, but pls use black soap because the soap you’re using maybe some perfumes but black shea butter to is the best❤
Thanks, I hear black soap is really good. What is it made from?
GM Sharon, your bread turned out amazing and looks like it would be very tasty with some butter or jam,I pray 🙏 that you, your family and friends are safe from the flooding I hear about going on in your beautiful country of Kenya 🇰🇪
The fried bread was so tasty and would taste even better with butter and jam 😋. Floods are causing havoc in Kenya. It's been a while since we saw anything like this. It's one of a kind. The worst of all times but God has kept is safe. Thanks for your concern, I appreciate it 🙏 These are the effects of climate change. We experienced this after long periods of drought and when it finally rained, it poured. This is the worst of all times.
