I always tell djs that 2017 mac up have overheat issue and they laugh at me but i can say the best laptop ever made is 2012 maybe 2013 also but then as a dj you have also know how to service ur laptop clean frm dust n make sure inside and fan clean also few year up thermal paste can be change but it all depends on how used laptop often and the condition...

Never had this problem on Windows (HP Elitebook830 G8 - 300 you can pick it up)... but not somewhere that's hot like I said. M1 silicon from Apple is great though, there is nothing equivalent or power/heat efficient from Intel or in the Windows world so it could be worse. Still though my HP seems to do ok, even when I've been using it abroad in the heat.

The Macbook pro starting from 2017 - 2022 will have over heating problems because of how thine they are and chip. They did not design them with enough vents. The new Macbook pro can handle heat due to it having more vents and newer chip. Me personally I have the lates Macbook Pro with the M3 chip and its worth every money. Running serato has zero load on the new Macbooks

It's the same with powerd speakers. If it's in direct sunlight, it will shutdown. So it's best to keep them covered or out of sunlight.

I always place laptop cooler underneath my laptop. Doing this should eliminate overheating issues. I have never experienced overheating problem with my 2012 MacBook Pro.

I have never had a computer act up on me. I still have a (3) 2012’s (2) 2017’s & 2019. I always run an external fan underneath for extra cooling. These are electrical devices i would never use them in direct heat. You never have to spend 2k, 3k on a macbook. In the PC world just get a good faming laptop

Aerus Electrolux the company I work for, has canister vacuum cleaners that have reverse mode that blows warm clean air, I generally used with a clean hepa bag, as they are bag system, not bagless. Does such method recommend for cleaning these new amplifiers both in Jamaica and USA? since I previously used these canister vacuum to clean and vacuum our amplifiers,in both the regular and reverse mode, the older models, the likes of the QSC, Crowns etc.

Apple new Mac book air have no fan in them . Mac book pro M1, M2 pro and M3 max have fans in them they are much thicker than the Mac book air

When using a software such as Serato to DJ there are many factors to consider. Depending on the type of equipment you’re connected to your software is going react differently due to the sound card being used.

Frequency with mili volts goes through your XLR cables. Noise is being generated by the power supply of the equipment the higher the quality the better the circuitry. Less ground noise.

A CD is recorded at 1411 kbits vs an MP3 at say 320k. So the MP3 is compressed. That means leaving some of the data bits out. It's really amazing because I have done listening test with people using various systems and none of the listeners could guess which was CD or 320k MP3. Essentially that is the point where our ears just are not good enough to pick up on the difference. One key factor here is to run a program to check to see if the MP3 is indeed recorded at 320. I see many sites recording at lower rates but marking them as 320. When we get below 320 some people can hear a difference. At my test we all struggle as 256k which was also very good. It was at 192k where I could hear a difference. Bass was not a tight and the highs at dropped a little. Yet I could still use the 192k files at my bar gigs since folks there don't really study the sound. I would say to never use any that are less than 128k. Even a drunk can hear the difference! For guys playing on big sound systems I would suggest WAV files which are large but they are lossless. There are some DJ sites offering these files. You can also use software to rip your files to this format. FLAC is also good. I should also add that there are some CDs that have been mastered poorly. Look out for that problem too. At the end of the day, do comparisons, use your ears ...

320 is the best quality of any bitrate (meaning u could hear a pin drop in the music) more defined than the lower bitrates such as 120. Expander is better noticed when you play low quality bitrate music that's why it was originally designed for cassette and vinyl. So with that said if you play 320kbps an Expander is useless but keep in mind 320 files take up 3 times the file space as 128 which is the normal mp3 file. Wav file is also good quality but takes up alot of space per song as well. 👍🏼✅️🔊

I learned something here with the 320 bits. He is right because notice, on the new songs that are releasing in todays world that clapping sound the we love and use to from the expander is nul and void on those songs. However, playing songs like the foundation tune as we call it, those were recorded on a slower bit rate, so the expander will have a bigger impact on those tunes. Never too old to learn. Wallie you out do yourself again with this informative video. Not everyday it has to be about the physical sound this is the real deal to make your sound play in the right manner Great video me boss.

320kbps is so rich and heavily compressed that it doesn't have does define signal that expander would use to create the expansion (high points of the signal that would be expanded by the expander). Therefore the majority of the audio signal gets caught in the expansion then cause distortion. It's like just instantly turning up the whole signal too far. That's my understanding.
