In October 1905, one of the Public High School in the Philippines outside Manila opened in San Isidro, Nueva Ecija. Before it was named San Isidro Central School, this academe is known as the Wright Institute in honor of then American Governor General to the Philippines, Luke E. Wright (1904 - 1906).
