Maybe that car was broken because any SVR or Ts I drove would eat up the M3 or M4s

We liked the older diesel and the gas 6 cylinder units are the sweet spot

I agree we drove one from Alberta to San Diego this summer and it often struggled up hills. Its definitely a little weak for highway, but it does work, just have to give a little extra time to pass.

Great combination. Lovely color and with the sport package makes it a very interesting car.

The SVR has 575 HP, while the R, which has a review here too, has the 550 and indeed I like the way they all drive but the F type is far more electrifying

You bet I went to San Diego California to film this one. Carlsbad to be a bit more precise. Weather was spectacular and far less chance of getting rained out, lol.

This one is a 2023

I thought 2023 was the first year of the turbo 4. I bought a late 2020 to get that 3.5 L V6. Same power train I had in my Sienna. It's bulletproof. Overall, I love the Highlander. Mine is the LE trim, and it has almost everything that the XLE has except softec, power rear gate, sunroof, fog lamps. But, it's a great vehicle! Highly recommend.

They are a blast and this 335i that I had also had JB4, downpipes, intake, etc made marginal increase

Warranty is best and the base 4 cyl ingenium feels a little fragile and I would recommend going to 6 cyl

Wow that really sounds like quite the run of issues. I found much of the vehicle to be a bit fragile

@@ExoticCarPlayplace stay away from any German product that is assembled elsewhere, including USA. Not sure why but they cannot seem to get it right. And premium car quality is no longer what it used to bec those days are long gone.. between the big 3, my pick is audi. Runs with minimal problems first 10 years at least before it detonates..

If the shocks and axels were done for, it's the former owner's abusive treatment that caused the issues, not the manufacturer. Also, water in the rear lights sounds like it was a in an accident or the light were replaced by an aftermarket set and wasn't reported.

@@QuanPham-uq7mlvehicle was mint and accident free, had only about 65k clicks. I popped one of the rear lights myself, it was genuine.

The n55 is a much better setup than the n54 for reliability

I bought my N54 335i coupe in 2013. Since that time, I’ve had an E90 M3, an E60 M5 and a N55 F30 335i. I still have both 335i cars. The N54 got some recent turbo/exhaust upgrades and fresh paint. Not sure I’ll ever part with it.

Yes the F Pace is a nice buy and decent finishing, especially in the facelift versions

They are great to drive, a more analog experience than many newer models

The older model had a supercharged V6, but the latest has an inline 6 and a little hybrid push

Oh, the new GX is a very cool looking unit and almost feels like a Land Rover Defender, with a lot more reliability.

I agree, its a nice feature. Only thing is the glass is more money if it gets broken as apparently there is some sort of finish within that helps its reflection ability

Hi neighbor, great to hear from you, and you are coming from an area not too far from where I was born. I have family in ST Walburg, Goodsoil, and the family farm was in Aberdeen, not far from Saskatoon. I know what you mean by the roads and there are some doozies, lol. The 4Runner is tough unit built on a truck platform vs the others you mention are more unibody and built more for city driving. I have friend who also works on exotic cars and modified the underbody panels to make changing oil easier on a customers Ferrari 458. Its one of those things, that if you can make things easier for yourself, go for it. Hope you are keeping well. How has the spring come yet over there?

@@ExoticCarPlayplace That's cool your family farm was at Aberdeen. I work between Highline at Vonda and Bourgault at St. Brieux which is close to my family farm at Melfort. Spent 30 yrs in printing, then went to Bourgault. They sent me to school and I got my millwrights papers in my 50s! Enjoy your channel and the videos. I have family in Edmonton and recognise some of the places. Spring is going well. Looks like seeding will be early.

That’s truly awesome to hear so r familiar territory. Yes my dad lived in a tiny house with about a dozen siblings. Things have changed so much. It’s great to hear the weather is agreeable for farmers to get their work done. The true contributors to these great lands. I know we had farm land near Aberdeen and also a bunch in St Walburg which I drove by a couple weeks ago on a day visit but was a little down as the property is now owned by another owner. Things have changed so much.

Hi Dave thanks for reaching out and yes these SUVs are beautiful and nice to drive, but being a long way away can pose a challenge unless you have a truck and trailer for the odd breakdown. Normal maintenance is just a drive away so it’s not bad really just for standard servicing but yes they are also much more reliable than models from the past from my experience however, it’s certainly not a Lexus, which can be either good or bad. Acura is also solid but there have been a mix of transmission woes in some and recently the V6 has had some engine troubles in certain runs. This unit is likely most interesting with the V8 but really best bang for buck goes to the middle 6 cylinder unit. That’s the sweet spot.
