did u use a weight?
What river is this ??
So jealous good work dad
Never release a tragedy fish thay can be good money.
Did he say Look at that whore?
My buddy shot a banded duck one on each leg on Lake Michigan and each tag was worth $150 from the group. Tag still should have numbers on it.
You’re suppose to call those in bro lol You do actually get paid sometimes 🤦🏼♂️
I registered it online and got sent a fish patch 😅
If you call it in you get paid for that
You just lost a free 2023 fishing boat and 20k 😮
How? I'm sure he didn't go out and say "I'm gonna intentionally catch a tagged bass".
No lol anyone can buy tags and tag fish to help out with scientific research
What kind of tag?
Just a tag anyone can get online to help out research groups
Bass are smart fish what you using for bait? I'm way over in state of Washington. So you can tell me? I love bass fish.
Live shiners
Black shirt is a pro 💯
Mine or jefés?
@@justinbrooks1101 older fella. Vid was fire tho 🔥
I see retirement is working out well… a good day of fishing is a lot better than a good day at work… haha
High quality fishing so excited for new videos
No excuses now that I’m in Florida haha
I would have let it go ....you are right nothing is going to change it now they are here to stay
Nice, where at if you don't mind me asking?
Where is this place or location I want to be there would you let me know please
Newton lake… haddon twp
What public lake is this?
So to save you 9 minutes. No it didn't work.
Thanks for watching 👍🏼
Great video! Where in Cape Coral are you fishing? I've got a house and a boat down there in May, wanting to know the best places. Thanks!
That’s awesome! Tbh I really don’t know where we were just the back bays around Cape Coral 😬 good luck and have fun when you go it’s a great place to be!
@@justinbrooks1101 thanks man!
What kinda of boat is that? Looks perfect for SW Florida.
Honestly not sure, I just know it’s a perfect boat for back bays haha
What’s rod is that bro ?
It’s a St. Croix tidemaster
@@justinbrooks1101 what size shrimp you used ?
3inch or 4inch ?
@@Israeeelg pretty sure they were the 4in ones
Catching small juvenile bass under 1 lbs is not as much skill as it is the fault of the bass....they are hungry and young so they hit on anything and all kinds of retrieve.....thats why you rarely catch big bass.....SOON YOU WONT CATCH ANY BASS as the snakeheads will kill all baby bass .....youll see
Duly noted… thanks for the advice lol
He clearly knowns what he’s doing, why you being so negative, how about being a positive person? If not your just a low life!!! Sorry just saying:/
Catching children at the playground is not much skill either. Maybe you should stop touching minors.
Best way to break a rod is to grab it by the middle.....rods are meant to be held by the handle for maximum strength....once you grab the rod outside the handle or let it bend over an edge thats where the rod will snap.... Its called a compound bend.... Happens on boats and bridges alot
Duly noted… thanks for the advice, you must catch a lot of big fish to know all of this!
Thanks for the information no one asked about. He paid for his gear he can use it how he wants. No one cares about your “information”
State law says you have to kill it....try reading sometime
Ouch I can’t actually read I’m dyslexic
My waders have the same boot, same issue with the cracking
Yea they only lasted like 2 years I think it was the way I stored them
@@justinbrooks1101 same thing here, I'll stuff em with old towels or something for storage next time.
where did you get the shrimp?
D and D bait and tackle
Good fish yall! We have some monster trout down here in Texas , find you some redfish up there too . If your catching specs in the surf the reds are there too
Thank you!! Hopefully they come back around this year… fingers crossed
Now that you’ve caught your first smallie you gotta target some more! What a beautiful private area as well
That’s the plan
Awesome video! An beautiful looking fish! Keep up the great work, can’t wait to watch more! I also subscribed!
Thank you and appreciate it!!
We’re is it at
Thats why fall fishing is the best. Nothing like it. Great video young man, thanks for sharing an epic day with us.
Thank you means a lot!
Yeah snake heads are not supposed to be in NJ
Where is that jetty?
New Jersey
is this newton lake? also i release snakeheads
Tbh I’m happy you put it back cuz in my country snakehead is like salmon in America if you know what I mean.
That spot is stacked with green sunfish and redbreast sunfish
That spot is so good for crappie this time of year
i want one as a pet! id have a tank with a ramp so it can leave the tank or enter at anytime to roam around the house! the snakehead is one of the 3 fish i really want. the other 2 is the blue spotted mudskipper and the climbing perch. imagine if a pizza guy comes and sees a fish on the couch waching tv? he would go straight to the bar! imagine seeing someone walking there fish at the park? people would talk to there therapist! lol
I’ll drop one off if your in nj no telling when but I’m sure I’ll catch one this summer
Where in cape is this?
Yes, let’s release the fish that destroyed fisheries so it can continue spawning! I’m so glad there’s people like you who are not listening to the DEC and releasing an invasive species back into waterways! World class fisherman! When are you joining the bassmaster series I can’t wait?
This is the dirty jerz for you America
I cut their gill plates out and feed them to the snapping turtles. Everyone I catch. I've caught about 75 so far.
Let them go we want them here
@@mikestackz854 I kill them
@@Tacoman1967 why, you don’t enjoy catching them?
@@mikestackz854 I do. I enjoy doing what is right for our ecology.
@@Tacoman1967 where do you catch them?
It's the law to kill them man
If you capture a snakehead fish: Do not release the fish or throw it up on the bank (it could wriggle back into the water). Remember, this fish is an air breather and can live a long time out of water. Kill the fish by freezing it or putting it on ice for an extended length of time. Photograph the fish if you have access to a camera so the species of snakehead fish can be positively identified. Contact your nearest fish and game agency or the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (703-358-2148) as soon as possible. Keeping data on the size, number, and location of where snakeheads are caught or seen is vital to controlling this invasive fish.
Great relaxing video! My wife and I are heading to Cape Coral this week for a vacation. Any tips on where to bridge/pier/dock fish? We have lightweight rods and will pick up some live bait down there. Thanks!
Sorry to bother but I was wondering if you could tell me what king of combo ur using???
Your not bothering me haha... the rod is a 7ft medium action duckett ghost, the reel is a 2500 Shimano Sedona, and the line is 15lb braid
When’s the next video comin??
whenever i can catch some more fish haha
What kind of bait caster are you using
Lews Speed spool MB I’m pretty sure
Thanks man
I caught one in my life. He was about 6 1/2lbs. I also released him. I got a lot of crap for doing so. I do not kill anything. Good job 👍
That's a nice one! And thank you
They’re an invasive species that eat everything including turtles, they don’t improve fishing environments at all, the DEC recommends removing them, but I’m glad you’re on your moral high ground saving that fish that can’t even be eaten👍🏼
@@alecbrummer7840my local lake had problems with bass being so skinny soon as snake heads came in the bass god fat af and bit sm more and the bigger bass grow sm more , plus they usually die due to the cold
I agree, I would’ve released it! Let’s consider them game fish. RIP lips
