Hi brittney, As far as I know these types of Mercedes come with a limited slip differential, this means you need a decent amount of power to spin both wheels simultaneously. My 560 was a high compression version making 300hp which are kinda rare , most others barely make 250hp, combined with a 100hp of nitrous the 400hp is plenty to fry tyres, Other tricks you can use is to over inflate the tyres, hard tyres spin easier , other than that you looking at line lockers to remove rear brakes or welding the diff , where are you located ?

@@jamesmullaney22 it makes my 560 look pathetic in comparison. I will be finished replacing about $500 worth of broken shit i found on the engine soon so will be interesting how it runs then.

@@archygrey9093 , this is high compression variant of the 560 , brought out towards the end of the w126 run , 1987 onwards I think , these cars are called the 300hp cars . I have another video of the car doing a big burnout while running a full shot of nitrous (110hp) . The gearbox didn't like it one bit 🤣 . The engines are strong and took alot of bottles of nitrous during the time I had it . I'll put up a new video soon. Enjoy

@@jamesmullaney22 That makes sense, mine was the 230hp emissions standard one imported from America to Australia at some point. Has the 4 mufflers, catalytic converter, low compression pistons, smog pump, egr valve, smoother cams than euro spec, retarded timing chip and crossover pipe exhaust manifold. Have almost half the crap ripped out so far

I needed a clear acess to the throttle body without the filter in the way so I made up my own intake . With nitrous you want to spray straight down into the engine without restriction

@@jamesmullaney22 ah ok, so you just sprayed straight down the throttle body then. Did you do anything to add more fuel when spraying? I've thought about using the cold start injector to automatically richen the mixture especially since it can be switched on and off electronically.

@@archygrey9093 , if you look at one of my older videos you can see where I have split the fuel line on my 500sel , I've stolen of the high pressure fuel line and run a fuel line to the fuel solenoid that sprays with the nitrous into the engine , extra fuel is a must , and lots of it . The amounts of fuel and nitrous is regulated by jets that are interchangeable, they are located in the fogger which is in the intake

@@archygrey9093 the new video is up now just because you asked about it , check it out , you can hear it back firing through the engine, I blew a few sets of tyres that day.if you live in western Australia they expect a burnout to blow both tyres and then maybe melt the rims too .... if you want to nitrous boost your car I'm happy to give you all the information I have

iplay withwires , this is my second nitrous w126 , i believe that the engines are pretty strong , this method is used at full throttle . running the engine like this will obviously cause wear and tear , its up to you to weigh up the pros and cons of doing it , my car body is in bad shape with suspension problems meaning that its not worth much so im willing to take the risk ,if you do decide to do it, do lots of research, buy a fire extinguisher and make sure your fuel lines are tight .
