Reap Weaponries SCY: Range Toy or Legit Bullpup Option?
In this video, I will cover the Reap Weaponries SCY Chassis and their Sickle buttpad.
FULL DISCLOSURE: This chassis was provided to me for review by Reap Weaponries. There was no money exchanged. After this review process, the chassis was returned. I was in no way persuaded into any opinion. The dudes at Reap Weaponries are awesome, but my honesty stands regardless of their character.
A huge thank you goes out to Reap Weaponries and Foxtrot Mike for making this review possible. Go check them out!

SD Tactical Arms Apex Flash Hider
Просмотров 915Год назад
Flash hiders are a dime a dozen these days but make no mistake, they are not all created equal. Some are great at concealing flash but leave a horrible "ring" while others are just the opposite. It seems like no one can find a solution for both flash and ring, until now. The Apex Tapered Flash Hider has virtually no ring and hides flash better than any other flash hider I've used, even on short...

I have their SDTA Flash Hider, and their 1.375 x 24 SDTA Muzzle Device Adapter is only $18 right now. Do you think its worth getting the Apex and corresponding mount (switching over to the "plan B" style taper mounts) if you're planning to mount the suppressor to multiple rifles (meaning more muzzle devices) or do you think I should rely solely SDTA mounts?

Can’t just get an ambi selector, put to fire on the lower, and then remove the knobs on the ambi safety. Then your front safety would work as expected

I ❤ bullpups, but for another reason. I own an RFB24 and a RDB20 from Kel-Tec. The trigger bar design is similar to the KT’s. Unfortunately, all pups have issues with accuracy- but in my experience the RFB is 1MOA accurate with the right ammunition- so it’s possible. It seems to me that harmonics are key. I like the Desert Tech MDRx, but I want to see more accuracy tests. The same goes with Reap conversion. These would be great with 300BO, for 5.56, I’m weird, I prefer full velocity- so 20” barrel. My RDB20 is 33” overall, the RFB24 is 32 without anything on the end of the barrel. The world needs a sub-MOA accurate pup.

I always get a kick out of seeing mounts that cost almost or over the amount spent on the scope. I see so many weird pairings come across my bench... I don't know if it's because of the area I'm in but anytime I work on a higher end AR it almost always has a truglo or Amazon special type optic.

This thing is brilliant... except for the dual safety like you say. But, I guess you could take a grinder and grind down the lever on the supernumerary one and then pin it in place. Question on that last video clip: you have a muzzle device on @18:10, what is that please?

Bullpups are usually reinforced where the cheek area is, but a standard AR upper is not. Only fear is it blowing up in your face with bad ammo.

I just got this chassis a few weeks ago and my problem is that I'm a lefty. With that said I put my stag arms lefty upper receiver on it and it's worked perfect for me. Oh and I'm using an FN 20" barrel on it and it's still shorter than my 14.5" Noveske upper receiver.

Disabling the safety on the lower would be as simple as removing it from the lower. You can place a sticker over the hole.
