Hello @The AspiringNomads, either would be fine…maybe Laborie would be better for finding accommodation. Also, public transportation is convenient whether you stay in Laborie or Vieux Fort. I would recommend going to the “I Love St. Lucia” Facebook group and joining…it’s a public group…many visitors to our island go there there to ask questions…you’ll get responses from many island locals there and recommendations.

@@KurrdeigeLenora many people use it to make a pancake if it's soft, so put your own skills to work. Don't depend on grand dad, he expects yo to use you own knowledge and come up with your own ideas. Add some garlic, onions, thyme, turmeric, cloves, pepper, a tea sp of baking powder and you have a beautiful pancake from a soft breadfruit, that some people throw to the pigs

@@pastryshack551, no one would eat the pancake 😄 Are you from Saint Lucia? I did not know people made pancakes out of breadfruit since we don’t do that on the island from my knowledge. Thanks for sharing 🙌🏾

@@KurrdeigeLenora sorry I learn this from jamaicans who when the breadfruit is soft which we consider not good they use it too make pancakes. I tried it and it's beautiful. Like the red blossom from the end of the bananas I found out it was edible. And we threw them away all the time

@@pastryshack551hello 👋🏾 when breadfruit is “ripe” (kind of sweet and a bit soft), we boil it and pair it with meat or anything we want just like we would an “unripe” one. But in this video, the breadfruit Daddy tossed aside was spoilt so it’s no good to use for anything (at least from our 🇱🇨 perspective). But it’s so good to learn how others prepare their breadfruit. Your example showed how different islands have developed innovative ways to enjoy this one produce. 🫶🏾🙌🏾

We visited the drive in volcano and sulphur springs during the month of December. Some areas that were accessible before are now closed off (maybe for safety reasons). There were a good amount of patrons that day. Some days/times are probably busier than others. 🤗
