Six Hours in the Life of Cactus Flowers SD 480p
Просмотров 233 года назад
Cactus - Gymnocalycium baldianum, Dwarf Chin Cactus. This cactus flower takes 4hrs to open and approx 2hrs to close. The quality of the time-lapse is poor because I used natural daylight it was sunny with clouds causing the light to vary (giving the flickering effect). Next time use artificial light. Also the shelf the cactus sat on vibrated. I had to change the camera battery 3 times causing m...

Why do ppl go into the ocean with teeny tiny boats?? I've seen worse...some guy caught a shark in his kayak and it nearly knocked him out of it several times.

Let’s design a kayak where the front sticks out of the water really high, same with the back, but let’s put the operator at sea level.😳

Harmless or not, I think my anxiety would go 0-60 in a second, just being that close to such a large creature, but hopefully I'd calm down an beagle to see the beauty, but that answer is yet to be knownlol

My excitement started with seeing the magnificent dorsal fin. I paddled gently to be nearer to the shark and stopped for several minutes to watch and experience the huge creature. It was a wonderful experience. I hope you get your chance. While camping on a 10 day canoe trip in Algonquin, I had the pleasure of a young bull moose walking into camp, view here. www.flickr.com/gp/dougoutcanoe/7829uJ

When I saw that dorsal fin coming up, up, and up even higher I was like wtf??? This shark is MASSIVE! Id would be paddlin like a MF to get away from that one! Then When I see the dorsal and tail both OOW, THEN I was surehe was a monster! THEN I see him swimming with his head OOW and thought well this is either a retarded Great White or its one of those basking sharks. I know a GW will occasionally raise their head up to get a better view of something in particular but they DONT swim around like that! Lol

You ocean kayaker are awsome! But I love my sit on top 120 pdl fishing kayak, with all my accessories and 3hp electric motor. I do paddle and pedal when I get to my spots, for exercise, or covering water and scenery on large lakes and resevoirs. But don't know what I'd do with that monster cruising around me. Atleast he seemed to be in a good mood, and left you alone. 🙏 😎

That rush shoots through your chest and your heart misfires hard AF! that's the horrific feeling of "Oh sht! I'm completely helpless floating around in this flimsy light weight watercraft and there's a carnivorous monster cruising nearby that could effortlessly launch me into the water." "Oh,It's a big friendly sea creature FFS! Excuse me while I finished my coronary!"

This is why you always carry a sizable sidearm. I would if I went out fishing like that. No way in hell would I ever, go out without my 44 Magnum-Auto-Mag. You could have killed him and then paddle a ways away and then been on about your day, going back to fishing.
