We should have gotten characters like Luigi (who was already confirmed before being scrapped), Sterling (because he did have a big role in the 3rd film), Cal Weathers (to finish off the original four veterans), and Danny Swervez (because at least Jeff Gorvette was able to get into the Cars 2 video game).

The Wii u version probably sucks because of lower frame out of the supported consoles and the lowest resolution and the controls

the durability/endurance theory is something i believe too! i have one lightning from thailand i use for playsets and it barely chips compared to the china lightning i use for the same purpose (both started out in good condition btw). even tho the decals aren't as clear as before, its a good trade off if it means a better product.

The game for me feels unfinished like they planned for it to be something bigger, but in the end it just ended up being a worse version of cars 2.

IMO, the DS/3DS version of the Cars 2 VG is IMO what the film should've been. Even though is more or less the same plot with the spy stuff many people didn't like, at least it gives more protagonism to McQueen and the racing stuff instead of just cutting most of it. Honestly, I would've prefered if Pixar did that with the OG movie. With the racing being the main plot and the spy stuff being just a subplot that doesn't affect the main story.

This game was literally my childhood back in the day. I got it for Xmas back in 2011 when I was only 7 years old. Now I'm 20 years old, still have the game, still play it sometimes. I think it's an awesome and underrated game, partly because of how addicted I was to it back then lol.

In my opinion,cars 3 driven to win could have been better than being a cars 2 the videogame remake,here's the point,disney could just make cars 3 d.t.w being a game with open world,paintjobs for characters instead of being an extra slot character(take for example lightning mcqueen and fabulous lightning mcqueen),and the last but not least,a TRUE story mode,not that shit of "race to beat different opponents" i mean like man,that's not how a cars game must be done,this is why cars the videogame,mater national and race'o'rama are the goat

There is literally no way, I had completely forgotten about these, I had almost all the toys as a kid, this just unlocked a hidden memory man. I remember how difficult it was for me to control the cars on the screen lol

In the development part there are a lot of mistakes, the game was never supposed to be a part of disney infinity (confirmed by devs themselves) and the game had 2 years of development and was supposed to have 3 but when disney closed the company, warner bros bought it and disney agreed with them to let avalanche finish the game, the development was going very badly tho and also some music wasnt unused, it was warner bros music that just somehow ended up in the files, maybe just as placeholders

My opinions i guess: Cars DS - very underrated, is genuinely a fun mini game collection, especially for DS Mater national DS - is really good, especially with the track design Race-O-Rama DS - very similar to MN DS but mcqueen has a really cursed face and tracks sometimes are MN quality and sometimes very mid Cars 2 - a pretty good retelling of the story with some deleted scenes implemented too, only the controls are a bit too sharp and quirky
