The funniest part of this plane existing is that it goes in a br where Radar isn't in every plane, and radar missiles are SIGNIFICANTLY rarer (in air battle anyway) So it's just a slower, worse bomber. 10/10, amazing.

Super crusader was canned more due to the fact the f4 carried more missiles and people thought dogfighting was dead and also the fact the f4 is. Just way more capable of multirole stuff

My current and main problem with the game is scope creep... They keep adding more and more without polishing what was already there... Without balancing and without decompressing... All it takes is looking at a top tier aircraft's secondary weapon menu to see a big problem. Weapons that don't have display names, just shows the text address that the game uses to access weapons via coding.. This is not an actual example but something like 'ir_python_default' for an Israeli Python missile. We're even seeing that problem with actual aircraft names now.. The game is an absolute mess and rather than focus on polishing the game and fixing bugs they just want to keep adding in new vehicles and weapons... It's all about money money money and they aren't even pretending to hide that fact anymore... With this latest update you can literally pay $80 and get access to a Top Tier jet with RB-99 Active Radar Missiles...

the problem with the f-102 and f-106 is they use aim-4 missiles and they suck really really bad and they dont have guns on them so it would be harder to get kills

gaijin is NOT making a game, they are making money. f117 is gimmick, and gimmick sells.

We are STILL missing the majority of Century series aircraft before the F-117 and it makes me go insane (please give me the delta dagger please please please)

they should stop adding modern aircraft; they should have stopped at first generation missile shooting jets.

Gaijin loves power creep, so they focus on modern vehicles in order to make new players and those that want to play advance vehicles expend hard money

Add chapters to your video, I'll timestamp each one if that helps Also being serious, just consider the fact that IF Gaijin went and added all these missing jets into the game in a periodic order based on their historical development was to not miss a single vehicle, there would be NO supply of unique planes to add to war thunder for Battlepasses, Premiums, Events, or even just to be able to hand out regularly on the update schedule as a low tier vehicle refresher. I mean last update they added the domestic Swedish P-16 that some guy modeled as a premium for Germany and NO ONE CARES, who is talking about this jet? Everyone already gets frustrated when Gaijin adds a copy pasted aircraft so that would inevitably their solution if they did choose to add all these missing planes before more modern stuff that we already have in game. How stupid would it be to add aircraft by a historical order just so that you can have that one random vehicle that only one person cares about and delay more anticipated jets that people ACTUALLY want because we just have to have the Skibidipoop-2 prototype jet aircraft in game. And to people saying, "Gaijin just doesn't add these jets because it doesn't make them MONEY!!!" Are you really so inclined to believe that Gaijin's sole purpose through their every move is simply to profit off the players that you just happen ignore all the things they've added to the game that doesn't give them any money such as improved graphics, visual effects, Raytracing support, new weapons, new aircraft in the tech trees and all of this is included in update that's you don't have to pay for in a free game. 1:40 There's like 5 very similar early navy jet aircraft and this would likely just get folded within the other 3 4:59 We got the F-4D as an event vehicle which is generally the same concept as this so we'll likely just be waiting on this for a while. 8:56 Modeling a brand new missile for one unique aircraft would require more work than the average vehicle addition and considering the lack of Cold War interceptor aircraft in game there might be a balancing issue that Gaijin is worried. The missiles are just too terrible to be worthwhile weapons and the engines are too powerful for a low BR so it might just end up turning into an F-104 for low tier. More likely to come than strategic bombers nevertheless.

I'm going to be honest, I think the F101, F102, and F106 will never come to war thunder for one reason, the AIM-4 was a genuinely atrocious missile. the AIM 4 never had a proxy fuse (in country, one was developed very late in the missiles lifespan but after it was effectively made obsolete) and was reliant on contact with the enemy to detonate which reduced missile effectiveness to single digit percentages. as well, the use of the gun pod actually eliminated your ability to carry all but two of the falcons. the radar and FCS also had notable issues when placed under more than 3g making it essentially useless as a true fighter platform. the Dagger Dart and voodoo were all excellent interceptors for their time but are wholly unsuited to war thunders game modes. unless war thunder makes a big change and starts including some sort of bomber wave game mode or mechanic these interceptors will never really feel good, and would be and awful pain in the ass to grind through

I think a major reason why gaijin hasnt gone anywhere near some of these planes is the aim-4 or rather their lack of prozimity fuse. Sure the falcon would suck ass but I'm sure a lot of people would still like to see the planes that had the aim-4 as their main armament in game. Both the crusader 3 and the f-107 ultra saber would make great premiums or squadron vehicles imo

Theres a bunch more planes that could be added, like the delta dart and dagger, even though theyd probably wouldnt do too well in air RB. Also the Jaguar and maybe even the Canuck as a premium since they got away with the F89s. the F101A was fitted with guns and though it never loaded the aim-4 it could theoretically carry them. The F6U should be higher, maybe 7.7 or 7.3 at the very least, and the F7U is just a large underpowered more maneuverable swift f7 with twice the amount of beam riding missiles so it should share the same BR.

F-101A had wiring for external AIM-4s (aim-4s rusted outside of the aircraft mid flight because they're designed for weapons bays LMAO) so that didn't really happen and the 101B was just pure missiles, some had 6 missiles instead of 4, but it depended on the variant of missile used, so yeah we can probably get an AIM-4 armed F-101A if gaijin uses their artistic liberty again (expect it to have 2g of pull on the deck 💀 it also wasn't too early for 9s, it actually came out after the F-4 but usaf/navy service anger issues happened also no F-102/F-106?

To give some love to the Soviet Tree in the same vain as this Su15 Il102 Mig25 Least those are some of my choices for production aircraft, there are a lot more that we could see For prototypes, Ye8 and MiG 1.44 would be pretty cool too
