Listening to this, and reading along in the entry, gave me so many flashbacks to "The last Bastion". Bringing a tear or two to my eyes. Man. The lore and characters in OW 2 just hit different.

I love that they threw in an off-hand comment from Torb, and it explains why Bastion sounds so loud when he walks. Awe, Bastion allowing Torb to put in the kill switch after listening to the whole fit he throws is so cute. This story is just making me fall even more in love with Bastion. Torb being a math lover, is such a Torb thing. It fits his character so well. "But it worked" the phrase anyone who has ever done some fix and pray knows by heart lmao! "Raising my dander" had me on the floor! omg 😂 For real though, I love that they didn't pull punches on Torbjorn still having PTSD from the war. I feel like the fandom as a whole has taken Torb in as a funny gremlin dad who loves his machines and we forgotten that this is also a man who survived a war - losing a limb and an eye in the process. It was so neat that they showcased him still processing it years later. It's also amazing how they had a story from Torb's POV and yet I could almost understand everything that Bastion was doing and thinking. Great job on the reading Skiesti! Are you only going to be making videos for new stories, or do you think you might go back through and read some of the older stories as well?

What did you think of the short story? IMO it's really neat to know how Torbjorn reacted when first interacting with Bastion in his workshop and see his thinking slowly change

I wish there was more support that isn't focused on healing, but on buffs and debuffs. or anything to facilitate or hinder the gameplay

Im interested to see what kind of players keep with Illari, like a player stereotype kind of thing. So far, 14 days since release, it seems like illari players definitely wont be tank-babysitters but also not a “true” flanker, since they tend not to leave that pylon. Heres some types that Ive seen so far! Off-Brand Symettra: very independent players, who like to set up pylon at chokes in tricky placements, and beam down enemy supports in a very close range 1v1 when tanks arent looking. They take a pylon being destroyed as a personal slight, destroy at your own risk! Ambush Illari: These types are horrifying on multi-capture maps, they are Illari who strongly pocket flanker Dps like sombra. Theyre really good at hitting shots, but have no clue how to use the movement ability to its fullest. They use their pylon *exactly* like a soldier 76 popping heal ring. Objective Illari: These players will ping you to let you know where the pylon is as soon as its placed, and have that “come to me for healing” key ready. They have the objective on lockdown, and place pylons on the cart 100% of the time. They strike me as Lucios that swapped over and are keenly aware of just how little area that Pylon covers. Adhd Illari: they are constantly using the movement ability and relocating pylon. The playstyle works really good if you have a dive tank like doomfist, because this illari type WILL peel for you and have the go-go-gadget pylon. They have predictable movement, but take *full* advantage of the high ground
